Weekly Toronto Blue Jays TalkAfter winning their first series in Minnesota by taking 3 out of 4 games, followed by a series sweep on the road against the Athletics in Oakland, as well as the team being ever-so-close to the .500 mark, you would think that fan morale would be at an all time high. Yet, with Matt Shoemaker tearing his ACL, effectively ending his season, Aaron Sanchez battling fingernail issues, Freddy Galvis battling a leg injury, and Ryan Borucki being placed on the 60 day IL, it seems as though the injury bug is spreading quickly. How the Jays respond to this will be a true test of adversity.But it is not all doom and gloom for this Jays team as the Number 1 prospect in all of baseball, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., will be joining the team for the start of the home-stand against the Oakland Athletics.
