In the worlds before monkey, the primal chaos rained. Heaven sought order, but the phoenix can fly only when its feathers are broken. The four worlds formed again and yet again, as endless eons wheeled and passed. Time and the pure essences of heaven, the moisture of the earth, the powers of the sun and the moon all worked up for a certain rock, old ice creation.

And it became magically for time. That first egg was named, thought. Tatha-tah-tah-budah, the father-budah, said, with our thoughts we make the world. Elemental forces caused the egg to hatch.

From it then came a storm-month, the nature of monkey was irrepressable. Hello and welcome to Retrospection. In this episode we're Kung Fu fighting with the Japanese TV series Monkey from 1978. My name's Colin and I never doubted it, Passionate's primate.

Well, thank you. You're welcome. Appreciate that. My name's Paul and it can get even larger, but it does get smaller too.

Story of your life. It's true. A B.D.R. autobiography title.

It's not about time actually, I might do that one day. T.M.D.B. says, Buddhist priest, Tripitaka and his three disciples, Monkey, Pixie and Sandy, travelled from China to India to fetch the Buddhist scriptures. They have been sent by Buddha and getting those scriptures will bring peace to the people of the world.

Well, I'm glad you explained it for me. I needed the explanation. Oh, which confused three most of this, Colin, I have to say. Well, let's do the cast and let's apologise now for the pronunciation of some of these games.

You have no idea how long I've been looking forward to this one Colin. Since we decided we were going to do it. Well, why did you do the cast? I didn't write him down Colin.

I didn't write him down Colin. I was monkey voiced by David Collins. I was stuck on the Sumi as Tripitaka voiced by Maria Warburg. Toshi Yuki is going to be hard.

It's about the beaver for us there to do the cast list. Oh, there's going to be some outtakes. Toshi Yuki Nishiada. Oh, no, that's not right.

Oh, I get it right. Toshi Yuki Nishida as Pixie for season one voiced by Peter Ward Thorpe. I can't even say the British names. It's a good start.

Come on. Shiro Kishibi as Sandy voiced by Garifurm Strong and Shonji Fujimara as the horse. voiced by Andrew Saks. When does Sumi Marigolis appear in it?

She does. She does. She does. Apparently in this episode unless I missed her in the cast list.

You know what? I am DB. It doesn't really put me in any particular order. That's true.

I'm surprised you used it to be honest with you. I used it for the cast list and I shouldn't have. But I did. You did very well there.

Thank you. Very well. A bit of editing there on your purse I think. I'll figure it out, don't worry.

We'll be required. Yeah. So monkey is a Japanese series based on a Chinese mythological quest story dubbed into English from a script by David Weir. I'm glad that you clarified that because I'm going to say this up front.

I will make mistakes during this because I couldn't. Yeah. In my notes I refer to it as a Japanese show, a Chinese show, then a Japanese show and then back to a Chinese show. So just go with it.

Okay. I was confused because it is based on Chinese mythology but it is a Japanese show. Yes. Really get me.

Weir didn't speak Japanese but had interest in Eastern religion and spirituality. He was given an English translation and reshapes the story and added to British slang. Oh, okay. So sorry.

Just remind me again. This guy is English. Yes. He wrote episodes of Danger Man, things like that.

He didn't write the original scripts then. No. He was given translations of the original Japanese. Right.

Okay. I get it. Okay. Yeah.

He also did English translation for another series called The What Imagine which was popular. No, that one I know. Yes. Okay.

So he did that as well. This version was popular in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Did you use to watch it as a kid? Yes.

It's a weird one, isn't it? I haven't seen this since I was a kid and I used to watch it all the time. And I thought I couldn't remember anything beyond the theme tune and the way he used to call his plug. You know, the fingers and that.

The fingers and that. But as it was playing out in front of me, little bits were ringing bells in my head. So I must have seen this episode at least more than once for it to be so, or it made an impression on me. I didn't realise.

I mean, there's a thing that happens later in the episode and we'll talk about it when it happens. I remember slightly differently. So let me do it. You tell us the version that you remember.

I will. Okay. Okay. So I can about the theme tune.

It's a banger, isn't it? Oh, it is. The whole music in this. The whole music is good, isn't it?

Yeah. But a proper up band. Go day go. Okay.

They did it. Go day go. Okay. I'm going to say, pronounce it.

Go day go. Yeah. Go day go. All right.

It's one word, Paul. Okay. All right. I'll say that.

I think I'll say that. I think I'll say, pronounce it. If you ever see my mind, I always thought the show was called Monkey Magic, but it never was. It was always just called Monkey, but the theme tune is Monkey Magic.

I think that we just probably referred to it as Monkey Magic in the schoolyard. Did you watch Monkey Magic? This was on at six o'clock on BBC 2. Yes?

Keep that in mind. All right. It was originally transmitted as two series of 26 episodes, wasn't it? In the original come.

In Japan. Yeah. Not all of them were translated into English. Yeah.

When they turned it into transmissions in the UK, it was changed to three series, but they didn't show them all, did they? In the end. No. No.

And they didn't translate them all. time later they went back and did some later versions but they're not as good. Oh right yeah because it's on IMDB it says that the dates it's got weird dates doesn't it because it says that the 70s and then it goes all the way up to 2003. Yeah so so in 2003 they did the remaining ones that it didn't translate before but they're not as good and the swearing in them for some reason.

They decided to put in so yeah. That's the way it goes now swearing in everything isn't it? Oh yeah yeah yeah fuck you. She a fucking hubris.

Oh yes yes yeah yeah. So should we address the voices? I think we should. Delicately.

Alright go ahead you first. So the dubbed English actors are putting on these cod Japanese accents right? I wouldn't say Japanese I would say some kind of Asian accent or Eastern accent of some description. Yeah but it's not I don't think it's specific to Japan but I imagine this could never be done now.

Oh god no it would be an up role. I never like I never thought of them as being Asian accents. I thought they were over the top wacky accents that were specific to these over the top wacky characters. Yeah I don't think I ever registered with me that they were doing quote unquote Asian accents.

So those accents won't be appropriate for a serious Asian drama but for sure about a guy who can change shape, flies a cloud and has a talking heart kind of fits. Yeah I'll go with that. I'll go with that yeah I mean I think there's an argument that if you're going to be offended by then being slightly over sensitive. Well I mean it's easy for us to say no.

Yeah but what I'm saying is your argument I think it justifies everything more than just being offended by the fact that these people are doing these accents. Yeah the stupid accents for stupid characters. It's kind of a comedy thing anyways. Yes.

Yeah totally. Alright so that's that out the way. Okay so we've been under the carpet and move on. Move it on.

Do you have any notes that you want to get straight into the answer? It's very little out there about this isn't it. Yeah that's true. And what there is is it's all the same stuff repeated over and over on every website and we've done it.

So there's nothing else to talk about so we might as well just jump straight in. Okay the first episode is called Monkey Goes Wild About Heaven. Does he ever? He does indeed.

So we open with a fight between spirit and beast. Apparently they're always at war especially the apes and king of the apes is monkey who apparently I love to fight. He does he really does. He does yeah.

Now when he explodes out of that rock he's a full on monkey. He's a man in a place. Oh yes he is yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah but he's on the path to enlightenment. So he's becoming more human as time goes on.

I'm glad you explained that to me because I was wondering. And he's acquired magic as well. I mean I know this show is cheap. Really?

And I just thought maybe they just couldn't afford a decent monkey costume and that's why it's just a guy. Oh no no no no no. Oh okay. I'll go with that.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah he's more human than monkey. So the Jay Dempra up in western heaven is kept awake by these battles on earth while he's visiting his good friend, Stir Vega, on a business. And if ever a voice could put quotes around the words of business. This is the voice to do it.

I've got quotes around it in my notes actually. Yeah because she's a very attractive princess. Yeah and we all know what kind of business he's on don't we? Heavenly business.

Stir Vega persuades him to go down to earth to investigate all this noise because it's keeping them up away. And this is designed by the commander of the heavenly host. I think I know him. You do?

Yeah yeah you went out of him didn't you? No he was the chaperone. Ooh chaperone. Yeah.

Eighteenth century here come on. I know we're a retrospect but we're going back a bit far now. I know right. Keep your hands to yourself.

I'm sorry. That's what you said actually. No I can imagine. We get an animated cloud first of an animated cloud don't we?

We do yeah. Do you like animations? I don't remember it looking this bad. Do you?

Yeah I do. Do you? Do you? I mean it's always achieved.

The small sets and it was always colorful. I think to my young eyes that didn't register. I mean I was watching Doctor Who. So you know.

That was your benchmark. That looked cheap. That's what you had to compare it to. I can see that now.

Yeah yeah yeah. Looking at it now. It's like okay. I mean it works in context of the silliness of it all.

Yeah it doesn't bother me. It just took me a bit back because I didn't remember it looking like that. Right. Some messages return to say it's the monkey king who's making all this noise.

And the monkey king can now think and has learned magic and has studied Buddhism. That's a lot on your plate isn't it? Yeah yeah. I mean I think I just learned magic can be done with that.

Yeah because if you learn magic then you can magically have everything else anyway. Suppose you could. What kind of magic would you learn? Me.

Yeah. Oh I would like to learn the magic of... Oh god. Is this going to be rude?

No. Does it involve soaring women in half? No. No.

No. Okay. It would be amazing to be able to have a drink that was never ending don't you think? When you get sick of it?

Well you can turn into whatever you wanted. When you're ever like are you talking alcoholic or just just whatever you wanted yeah. When you're ever having alcoholic drink but never have a hangover. Well that's good.

Yeah I like that. Yeah I'll be that one. Yeah. And I know I've both.

And why does it have to be one? We could have both. It's a bit greedy. It's always me.

Um that's true. Yeah. Could I not just have all the magic? All the magic.

Do you think that's how magic is it works? All the magic please. Why can't you have all the magic? Is there a limit?

Yes. Who says? The heavenly host. Your chapero.

He says. Yeah what's for that one? No magic fingers for you. Yeah he said that as well actually.

No no. So we see him monkey flying on a cloud which is an interesting way of getting around. Yeah. Yeah I take it.

Yeah. And is it well with the demon of havoc? Can I keep doing the same joke? I don't know.

Well we have done for a hundred and thirteen episodes usually. I think I went out with him as well. It's a good name. It is.

Demon of havoc. I think you should take that one. Really? You have a havoc.

Yay I mean. I'm more like the angel of nonchalance. Yeah that's probably more accurate. Yeah.

Yeah I think so. Yeah. Yeah. And monkey could turn himself into multiple people.

Yeah because he can pull bits of his fur off and turn them into copies of himself. Yeah. That's interesting. Yeah you could do that.

Well I mean you're limited on the her you could use but you could do it and you could send one of you to work while you stayed at home. That's a good plan. That's a good plan. And I'm not limited by the her I could use because you haven't seen the rest of me.

You're only judging me by what's on top. You don't know what's down below me. Well it's like a wildfire bushfire down there. Bushfire is correct yes.

Yes it's it. Oh right. Why don't you get it transplanted? If you've got so much down there that's free.

Because I don't want to look like the other saiya. Oh yeah you want to have that. Is it still live? I hope so.

Probably not that we've talked about him. Because we have that. That's true. The kiss is there for our podcast.

We've seen a few of them. Yeah you personally. No because they're heavily hosted by a lappy willy. You know.

No no. So Monkey defeats the demon of havoc. And Monkey wants to be a mortal and he wants a great weapon. And he's told that King Dragon has weapons beyond number.

So Monkey travels beneath the ocean. Just to say I wanted to ask you what you think of the fight in the action scenes and in this? Oh I like quite like them. I think they're pretty good.

They look like organised chaos at times don't they? I'm sure they weren't. That's what fight that's what fighting's about. He's you know all about fighting.

You've all been in a few fights in our time. It's not all choreographed action pieces. Sometimes it's just you know bite the testicles and poke them in the ice. You've been hanging out.

You don't want to be hanging out with the bite in your testicles. That's true. That's true. It's the worst thing you can be doing.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah easy target. Exactly. Which was your nickname at school? Yeah you're wrong.

Um oh I just wanted to know I'm not the action sequence. He's too yeah yeah they just look a bit like the rest of it. A bit bonkers. Yeah that's true.

Uh King Dragon who isn't a dragon he's in human form. Well not Dragon Dragon though. No we're not. Oh we're doing the second episode.

We're talking Dragon in the second episode. Oh yeah. Oh shouldn't have judged. Should I?

There's a talking dragon that turns into a talking horse in the second episode. Pause. Does the dragon look good? Moving on.

Okay. King Dragon won't give him weapons and odds as that monkey has his ears cut off. To be harsh. Just thinking about monkey for a second.

Does he have a tile? I can't remember if he has a tile. No he doesn't have a tile. Why?

He's just in human form. The other side. He's got pigs he looks like pig. You got.

Ah but he's not. He's not. Monkey's by his own choice. Pigsy was made a pig by the Jay Dempra.

Okay. All right. And the Jay Dempra says you were to walk the earth in the farm of first wine. I have that as well.

Yeah. Yeah you watch that. So. Move it out.

Move it out. That was a King Dragon. I'll just monkey's a rest but his soldiers are beaten. And the princess of the western ocean offers Monkey the magic wishing staff.

But it's made of substance at the start as a nobody can lift it. But Monkey has a car. There's quite a lot of innuendo with this huge staff isn't there? There is.

There's some of it in the episode. Some of it you are making up yourself. Oh I'm not. Oh yes you are.

That was a bit. That was a bit. That was a bit. Carry on.

That was a bit. His P.I.D. Yeah. Talking about the size of it and they can make it bigger or smaller.

How did they make it bigger, pal? They rub it. They rub it. Yeah.

You didn't want to say it did you? Again. Six o'clock BBC two. Yeah.

So now he has a wishing staff. And he, uh, because I found. Yeah. Then the writer says that he took his staff home and showed it to everyone.

I bet he did. Yeah. He's flushing it around like nobody's business. Yeah.

Well he wouldn't. Yeah. It is a big one. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And it changed his shape.

Well not shape size I should say. Yeah. Couldn't shape. It wouldn't be a staff change shape.

Even better though, wouldn't it? A change shape? Maybe. Turns into a big hammer.

Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo. Yeah. It is amazing how they manage to get the dubbing. It often fits the actors' mouth quite a lot doesn't it?

Yeah. Yeah. That is one thing that's actually quite good. And you do wonder like you do sit there and go.

So it's just well, obviously even if it is the original kind of dialogue, it still wouldn't fit because it's you know, it's in Japanese. Yeah. But yeah, it seems to work. So whether he shaped it so it did fit, it was best he could.

It seems too much of a too well done to be a coincidence. Yeah. Yeah. It is quite clever.

Yeah. Yeah. The Dragon King complains to heaven and the J. Emperor chastises the Dragon King for allowing monkey to take the staff.

But the spirit of Venus points out that nothing happens in heaven by accident. And that the J. Emperor must be teasing them as it's Charlie all the part of his plan. The Emperor doesn't have a clue really.

Does he's like, oh, yeah, yeah, perfect plan. Right. I can relate. That's how you operate.

It's how I operate watching this. Yeah. Oh, if you didn't have a clue. I didn't have a clue.

I was confused with most of this I have to say. I know he doesn't take much, Colin. But no, it doesn't. No, you're the man who got confused to carry on.

Nice. You always bring that up. You always bring that one up. Well, I mean, you know.

It was confusing. It was never not be funny. It was confusing. That's what I'm saying.

Yeah. Yeah. A heavenly message of his monkey with an invitation for him to travel to heaven. The message that tells monkey that he will be rewarded in heaven.

Obviously, monkey's going to go. He is. He is. We can have a tea party, isn't he?

He is. Yeah. No, but it's a bit of a chimps tea party. Oh, please have monkey.

Is that what you going with this? Well, not anymore. No, I'm not anymore. No, no, no.

Okay. The Emperor keeps monkey waiting for a week. But he gets fed up and turns up at the Emperor's palace and shows no respect to the Emperor of western heaven. The Commander of the host of heaven are Curtin pulling lucky as monkey calls him.

Yeah, that was a good line. I like that. And this is Sandy. I should point out.

He'll become a regular character. I didn't realize. I don't remember how those characters become part of the whole monkey story. You don't remember the origin story at all.

Oddly, I did remember later when they fall out of the sky. I don't know why. I don't know why. I think it was all jumbled up in my head.

Just a bit too. Jay D'Empre makes monkey the director of the heavenly stable. Yeah, they want him to shovel shit, basically, in heaven. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. As I've seen where monkey discovers an underlist of ranks of heaven, he's not just right at the bottom. He's not on the list at all.

He's so low. I can relate to that as well, Colin. Yeah. Yeah.

I like the language. He's like, shoveling horses, manure, director, and the guy like, we'll find a new shelter for you. So, monkey loses his temper about this, because he takes it personally. And so that's wrecking the place.

Now, a spirit of Venus, who seems like to be the person who's really in control, rather, you know, he's with like the Grand Viser and one of those forms that's whispering to the emperor. And he tells the emperor that instead of attacking monkey, they could make him the guardian of the heavenly peach garden. I tell you what, I like a peach. I do.

I do. I do. I do. I like a peach.

Yeah. Yeah. That's the guy that you were talking about, the visea guy. He's got one of those looks that he, you know, the kind of characters, I think didn't Tarantino in Kill Bill, he had a character that looked like this.

Oh, I haven't seen that film since it came out. I'm sure he did, you know, with the Wissend Grey, and everything. Yeah. Yeah.

It's a very common, 70s, Kung-Fu kind of. Shob-rovers. Yeah. That kind of look, isn't it?

Yeah. This point, monkey runs into the princess, and he decides to kidnap her and make her a hostage. Yeah, he's a bit of a horny monkey, isn't he? Yeah.

Not all monkeys. I guess so. I guess so. No.

But the ground's martial steps in the way, and this is another character who will become a regular, this is Pigsy. The Emperor shall hear this. We're just good friends, says the princess. It is quite funny, it tells me.

Yeah. They fight by Heaven's gate, and then the spirit of Venus turns up and stops the fight and tells monkey about his new job. I mean, he's not impressed, but the peaches he's got in only ripen once every 3,000 years, eats one, and you become supernaturally strong. Oh, looks a bit shabby, says monkey.

He's not wrong, is he? He does. No, he's not. No, he's not.

Another peach tree only ripens once every 6,000 years, eat one, and you will never age, and levitate at will, which seems like an audition, an odd addition to that. It's a special peach. I mean, we were talking about magic that we could have. Eat one of these peaches and you set up a lot with fun, isn't it?

Yeah, we can never age. It's almost like I've eaten one of those parts. Just the one. That's why I'm levitating.

Levitating? That's not a word, is it? That's why I'm levitating. I'm not sitting on a chair right now, floating.

I can't see you've got some parts. That's a good job, isn't it? It is, it really is. Yeah, because I levitate by firing steam at my ice cream speed.

That's the drawback. It doesn't mention that. It whistles like a kettle. I thought I could get something.

Yeah. Yeah, brewing a cup. I just thought it was your fans whistling out your window. Oh, yeah.

No, nope, me levitating. Oh, that's a no. The giant trees only ripen once every 9,000 years, eat one, and be like heaven itself, and outlast the entire universe. That's a bold claim.

That's a post. It is. Yeah, it is. It is.

Repeat. The monkey of caste talks into the peaches. He attacks the peach the way I tackle a big Mac. Oh, does that?

He does, yeah. All over his face. Yeah. Well, they're messing on.

Yeah. I realize there's a scene in Kung Fu Panda where there's a peach tree of, I think it's a peach tree of wisdom, and Kung Fu Panda's like leaning over it, and the guy goes, I hope you're not eating from the heavily peach tree of wisdom. He's like, whoop, whoop, whoop. It was a funny scene, like that film.

Yeah. Yeah. Afterwards, the ladies go to Gather Peaches for a banquet. The last occurred 9,000 million years ago, and finds all the right peaches have been taken.

Yeah, don't they call it the heavenly peach banquet? Yes. Yeah. I mean, it says what it is, isn't it?

It's not. No, no, no dressing that up. It's like, wasn't that the guy club you sang out in? Yeah, once or twice.

No heavily peaches there. I'll tell you. I'll let it up. Few rotten apples.

Right, so cool. Occasionally, nice per though. Monkey chases them. They tell him they are there to Gather Peaches for the heavenly banquet, but monkey wasn't invited.

He chases them back to the banquet, and sits down uninvited. The queen calls him a great ape. He chases them and tells them he ate all the peaches and declares war. And so much keeps shouting, save the fish, save the fish.

Because that's that fish shaped, that's right. It tickled me here and that. Meanwhile, Pixie and Sandia are talking. Pixie is in love with the princess, but is struggling because he can only be her eschar.

Unrequented love. I'd love a sitcom featuring Pixie and Sandia just bitching a moment about stuff. This seems great. Oh, really?

It feels like it's from a Tarantino movie this scene. Right. Like a heavily likely light. Yeah, yeah, it'd be great.

It'd be great. Yeah. They hear screaming, Pixie and Sandia fight until J-Demper arise. Monkey charges heaven and wants something precious.

As a hostage, Sandia thinks he means the Jade Fish Cop. Pixie thinks he means the Star Spirit, the princess. Sandia grabs the Jacob and uses it to defend himself. Monkey smashes it and the Jade Emperor blames Sandia for interfering.

You broke my lovely Jade Fish Cop. Think of the trouble it will cause on Earth. Do nothing and all will be well. That is heaven's law.

But you have interfered. See, my mother weeps pitting the grief of the mortal world when they hear my cop is broken. I'm not sure I even heard of your cop. So, there's a lot of that like.

It's because it works because it's almost Shakespearean in his tone. And then you've got them on pay off of it. Deflated. Yeah, yeah, totally deflated.

For their son, there's a spell from heaven to the mortal world. Pixie has managed to get the princess away. You smell of wine, she says. Boy, it's a manly smell.

That's a yolk, excuse, isn't it? I was thinking he was last simple Colin. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, he's dabbing, dabbing, dabbing, a bit of whiskey beyond the ears.

Bit of blue none. Or you should take the bag off of it. Yeah, you've cut that out. Oh, no, that's not a thing.

That's pretty gag. That's a good mistake. That's a good mistake. No, I've just promoted suffocating a non-bond ball.

No, he's abstract. Not like you said, let's go out and kill some nuns, isn't it? I mean, I just said that. You did that.

I'll cut that out and use it on the other retrospection. Let's kill some nuns. It's a good job. It's not Monc's Colin, isn't it?

Yeah, that's true. Pixie takes us away. He's drunk. He tries to kiss the princess.

She runs away and tells the emperor that Pixie tries to attack her. Now, Pixie tries to blame Moncie. For the emperor's having none of his ex-bells. Pixie to Earth has a pig monster.

Moncie, meanwhile, has been chased by the legions of heaven. Oh, he fights them. Moncie screams at the emperor that he wants his job. He's really trying to move up quickly through the rank series at the bottom.

Now he wants the emperor of heaven's job. He's an ambitious monkey as well. He is, yeah. The queen of brothers says that she'll beg help from the budder.

The big budder. Nah, can't believe it's not budder. Budder, budder, bad man. Sorry.

Budder takes on a female aspect and calls down to Earth. At which point Moncie stops you out, nobody's deaf. Yes, that one. I didn't make me laugh.

That's a good one. She addresses Moncie. Oh, he's fine. You were a fella, he claims.

You've written the same things that I wrote. It's quite weird how you do that sometimes. Right. She questions him and gives him a wager.

If he could fly out of her hand, she would tell the jade amper to leave the western heaven to him. If he fails, he will stay under. Moncie agrees. He jumps onto a hand and then calls up his cloud.

He flies to the end of heaven. Through black clouds, mist, lightning, rain. He sees the five pillars at the end of the universal lands. To prove he's standing where nobody has been before, he decides to leave some graffiti.

Yeah, basically, he basically writes Moncie was here, doesn't he? It does write that. He says the great sage king monkey equal of heaven was here. Then he takes a pee on one of the pillars.

Now, this is the bit that I remember slightly differently. I think I confused something because in my mind, I remember him being on the clove, and I remember him taking a piss. But in my head, I thought he pissed on her hand. No, I know he kind of does.

Think about it. So I think that's where my weird brain had mushed it all together into the fact that he just literally took a piss on her hand. I'm not sure that what that says probably says more about me than it goes about the show, clearly. So...

Hey, well, when we reveal what happens, we'll get we'll come back to this. Okay. He flies back to butter. He tells her he reached the end of the universe, millions of light years, five pillars, the color of skin.

She laughs at him, five pillars, you say. She holds up her hand and reveals that one of the fingers of the words that Moncie painted on, he never got off her palm and actually peed on a finger. So he did pee on her hand. Yeah, but I have this weird false memory of seeing him standing on her hand and taking a piss on it.

Oh, okay. And I was convinced when this was happening that I was going to see that image and I didn't. Right. No, well, that'd be kind of rebellious against a giant border.

It would. And it would also be kind of weird, again, at six o'clock on BBC two. That's true. That's true.
