117 - Healthcare and nonsense - Nikhil Krishnan, Out of Pocket Health

What do you know about healthcare in the US? Nikhil Krishnan is the founder and author of Out of Pocket Health, a newsletter featuring in-depth analysis and dank memes about what’s going on in the US healthcare system. His goal is to make healthcare easier to understand through his newsletter, children’s books, courses, and other exciting projects. He has previously worked in healthcare research at CB Insights and worked on the partnerships team at TrialSpark. Nikhil shares original opinions about healthcare in the US through his newsletter. He also uses Twitter to provide information to a following of almost 26,000 people. Nikhil has also founded the Get-Real club, an online, private community where he makes it easier to make friends via structured online-offline relationships. Nikhil began his healthcare journey in high school, where he worked in the lab, and both of his parents are physicians, making healthcare a very close-to-home topic for him.
