Everett's presence created friction between Chad and Stephanie, Xander and Sarah continued to fight over custody of baby Victoria, and Eric Sloan's adoption efforts hit a snag. Tripp and Wendy came home to the horrifying sight of Gabi standing over a bloodied and barely alive Li. EJ, the newly appointed DA, took advantage of the situation to have Gabi shipped off to prison pending trial and Leo and Dimitri's escape attempt put Nicole and her unborn child at risk.
