117 - Laser Focus—We Take Our Turns (Part 12)

Matthew 26:52-54 Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to my Father, and he will at once send me more than twelve legions of angels?  But how then should the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must be so?” Scripture was the path He chose, writing our new life with every step.  Though He could have rescued Himself from pain and betrayal, He chose a higher way and a deeper love. Jesus had laser focus as He carried out God’s plan for the world and all who would ever live in it. He still has laser focus on this world and on you and me.
