#117 - Marine Corps & BJJ with Mike Cesare

Mike Cesare Bio: Served in the Marine Corps after graduating high school in 2009. Deployed to Marjah Afghanistan in 2011. Received the Purple Heart medal. Got out of the Marine Corps in 2013. Returned to Long Island dealt with the difficult task of adjusting to civilian life while recovering from combat wounds and lots of other interesting obstacles along the way. Trying to spread the word about veteran mental illness and the current veteran suicide epidemic. BJJ practitioner, first-time dad to a 3-month-old son. Currently living in Oakdale working and going to college full time to advance a career. Reaching out to fellow combat veterans and encouraging them to take care of their mental health.
