As one fantasy shows starts, another one is about to begin! As Amazon's highly anticipated The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power debuts on Friday, we discuss the setting the show is based on: The Second Age of Middle-Earth.   SPOILERS   Thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, the races of men, dwarves and elves dominated the landscape in a time of great progression and establishment of powerful kingdoms.
