First up there's the news that we knew would happen anyway: Netflix would have been mad not to renew Stranger Things! At the other end of the scale, do we really need another 3 seasons of Homeland? It seems Showtime are happy to ride another great show into the dirt, just as they did with Dexter. There's also a bit of Movie News, including the striking trailer for Dennis Villeneuve's The Arrival, which has been going down a storm at various film festivals recently. All this & more on another news-stuffed #NOTwatching Podcast! Stranger Things 2 Confirmed! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXWG_kKDZlY Homeland back for 2 more seasons (at least), not including Season 6 which kicks off early 2017. http://www.digitalspy.com/tv/homeland/news/a804444/homeland-is-coming-back-for-two-more-seasons Rupert Grint to star in TV remake of Snatch http://www.telegraph.co.uk/tv/2016/08/23/rupert-grint-to-star-in-snatch-tv-remake/ Lost Boys TV Show in Development http://www.empireonline.com/movies/news/lost-boys-tv-series-development/ Amazon are making a Jack Ryan show with John Krasinski http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/amazon-jack-ryan-tv-series-john-krasinski-carlton-cuse-1201837916/ Passion of the Christ 2 confirmed! http://www.denofgeek.com/uk/movies/the-passion-of-the-christ-2/43391/the-passion-of-the-christ-2-confirmed-by-mel-gibson Transformers: The Last Knight will incorporate the legend of King Arthur http://www.slashfilm.com/transformers-king-arthur-liam-garrigan/ The Arrival Trailer https://youtu.be/AbHGLYLbQFI Contact us on Email at: [email protected] Follow us on Twitter: @notwatchingpod You can find the show notes for this show at www.notlistening.co.uk If you're listening on iTunes, please give us a review!
