Your reality of the life and marriage you thought you had was shattered with the discovery or partial disclosure of the actual reality of your life, your partner and even your body. When divorce is the result of betrayal trauma and abuse, and there is not full truth telling and even accountability from the betrayer, the human brain is then fragmented and often bouncing back and forth between two different worlds. Today I give voice to this violent experience, validating you as well as giving you hope that healing can happen.
