In this heart-warming sermon, Pete Foster (PSC elder) looks at how the people of Israel reacted to stress and fear as they anticipated an increasingly difficult future for the nation. Pete shows how their reaction was different to that of Samuel. How and why the LORD granted the people's wish for a king. How consequential that was for the nation. And how in some ways the search for God's chosen king is a thread throughout the whole of Scripture that leads us ultimately to Christ.
