12.10.17 - Advent 2: "Wake Up!"
from UMC Darlington Hosted by Darlington United Methodist Ch
Mark 1:1-8 & Isaiah 40:1-11 Prepare for the way of the Lord! Familiar words from Isaiah echoed by John the Baptist. Advent challenges us to hear those words today. John offered water as a way for his contemporaries to wake up to the actions of God. We are in need (always) to consider the same call. Where have we fallen asleep? Where can we receive the call to "Wake Up!" in our own lives?
