12/13/23: Unique December Warm Coastal Storm Follows Our Ongoing Texas Heavy Snowfall
from Weather With Enthusiasm ! · host Simcha Lefton
It's Mid December. We are in the midst of a heavy snowfall in one of our most southern states. The Texas Panhandle is under a Winter Storm Warning for 4 - 8 inches of snow. All eyes now turn to the formation of a Gulf Low. It's forecasted to intensify as it moves up the coast. Snow enthusiasts would ordinarily be ecstatic, especially those that live from the Mid-Atlantic area northward. However, the forecast does not match up to what our ears hear. It's snowing in Texas but there is no Arctic air in sight. And the East Coast forecast has no mention of snow. Why? This episode deals with some of this. Answers to these questions are dealt with in many of the episodes made this week.
