Tik Tok is known for its funny videos and viral trends but there’s a push at the federal level to ban the popular app on government devices. This ban would apply to government phones, laptops, or other computer devices. Lawmakers say the app comes with some major national security concerns that the Chinese owned company may be collecting data from American users. The ban passed in the Senate and now moves to the House. We breakdown this latest proposal and other efforts to crack down on the popular app.
