12/21/25 - A Season of Love

This sermon walks through John 3 to confront a sobering truth: religious knowledge and moral effort do not bring salvation. Jesus reveals that eternal life flows only through the Son who is lifted up on the cross, displaying the costly love of God who gives, not to condemn, but to save. Yet this love demands a response, because light exposes whether we truly desire Christ or prefer the darkness. Genuine faith steps into the light and produces visible obedience so that Christ may increase. To be born from above is to move from darkness to light, from death to life, and from trust in self to faith in Christ alone.
