Democrat Mike Hepburn is running for Florida's 27th District Congressional seat covering Miami's east and southeast side. He's an academic advisor at the University of Miami and seeking to become the first black millennial elected to Congress. Hepburn's campaign relies on thousands of small donors and a grassroots approach to winning support in the crowded primary field to replace a longtime Republican incumbent with a Democrat.
