Acts 26:28, 11:26, 1 Peter 4:16 | What is a Christian, and what does a true Christian look like? So many want to assume that God will pardon their sin and grant them access to Heaven because He is kind and merciful. Although that statement is true God is equally just and sin must be atoned for. That's exactly what Christ did on the cross. He took on sin and fulfilled the law by paying the price for our sin on our behalf for all those who put their faith and trust in Him. Christ's sacrifice on the cross provided the way to receive salvation, The Holy Spirit is actively keeping the christian saved through the process of sanctification, and the body and soul are glorified in heaven which is the end of our salvation.
