Fr. Elias Mary Mills, F.I. served as Rector of the Shrine Church at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Lacrosse, Wisconsin from 2016 to 2021. He was ordained in May of 2000.     In Today's Show  Can pets go to Heaven or an equivalent place? Does your "order" celebrate the TLM? How can I be happy in heaven if a loved one is in hell? Has the Vatican approved the Marian apparition at Akita, and has the Vatican approved the Third Secret of Fatima? How do we pick or know our patron saint? Recently there was a wedding ceremony in my family. They were both divorced previously; one was married in the Catholic Church with no annulment. The wedding was outdoors. After the vows/ceremony, a deacon of the Church (Novus Ordo) went up and gave a blessing and a prayer. Is this allowed by the Church? Does God continue to bless someone if they are in a state of mortal sin from past offenses? Should a person judge whether or not they are in God's friendship by whether or not they receive blessings from God? When having masses said for deceased loved ones who were Protestant, is there any special way to go about it? I also had a grandfather who was a freemason and wondered if it was OK to have masses for the repose of his soul? I have been struggling with anxiety and depression. Are there any Bible verses that touch on this subject?
