Send us Fan MailThe theme that seems to run through Paul’s final letter, his second epistle to Timothy, is faithfulness. Back in the second chapter he acknowledged the reality of our lack of faithfulness sometimes. Yet, here in the last chapter, he encourages Timothy to be faithful to his calling, to remain steadfast even as Paul has shown him the way.  We often think of Paul as the super-Christian who did everything right and who did everything himself. Yet in most of Paul’s epistles he acknowledges, thanks, greets, or commends someone by name in the final chapter. We all need such faithful, steadfast partners in ministry.
