A journalist implying homeowners might legally shoot other journalists for investigating fraud? Outrageous! Independent reporter Nick Shirley exposed what looks like massive taxpayer-funded fraud, and instead of focusing on corruption, Gerstein warns about gun laws. Social media lit him up, and rightly so—he even got Minnesota law wrong, claiming “not in your home” when it’s a duty-to-retreat state.
