Barbara Lane is the author of a new book entitled "Broken Water: An Extraordinary True Story." Barbara was born the 9th of 11 sisters who were separated while she was only age 3. What followed was a life in an orphanage and in foster care, a life with unspeakable abuse. As an adult survivor, Barbara sought, and later studied into, the field of ministerial counseling, on the path to reunite with her sisters. Trauma was certainly in each of their lives, and in the book, Barbara recounts their stories, providing valuable insights for our own healing, and action to prevent abuse in our personal orbits.
