12.5.2021 Saved But Not Free (Part 2)

Today, Bishop Rodgers continues teaching on "Saved But Not Free" from Romans 6:11-13. Believers are like soldiers who have deserted the ranks of a rebel unit (satan) to rejoin their rightful leader. This does not mean sin has no power over believers, but it means we are not helpless in the face of sin's assaults. Jesus Christ has guaranteed every believer eternal life, however, many believers still struggle with sin. God's best for you is victory over sin. God's great plan was to liberate us from sin's ruling power. Our identification starts in our minds by an act of mental reckoning or accounting. We need to be dead to sin and alive to God. We pray as you listen to this message you will evaluate your life to ensure you are dead to sin. If not, repent and begin to live in Christ by renewing your mind in the area in which you struggle.
