Additional comments from several commissioners on SC metro's plans. Commissioner Quinn asks about the economic sustainability of the Wave Services. CEO Tree discusses the 3 year pilot, that it is a risk, and there are some possibilities for it to be sustainable. In particular he emphasizes the CA state and federal grants they have won and the (likely) future commitment from those agencies. Commissioner Schiffern also adds some skeptical comments and that. He adds more comments about the high cost and imbalanced funding for other programs, especially rail. Some more questions about free fares are raised. Commissioner Koenig adds some positive comments about Metro.
