To conclude the Football Library year, each day of Christmas we’ll be celebrating the four score years of Sir Alex Ferguson, whose 80th birthday falls on December 31 2021. Starting with his time spent playing and managing in Scotland, the show mostly focuses on his four great Manchester United sides, his struggles with players, referees and other managers and the importance of control, family and discipline. On the tenth day, Sir Alex constructs his third great team who win United another European trophy.
