12: Hands On in Pain Science is Better | Adriaan Louw

from Pain Reframed

Welcome back to Pain Reframed!  This week, Adriaan Louw, known for his work in pain and pain neuroscience education as well as the head of the International Spine and Pain Institute, joins us, once again, to discuss the idea of pain science and whether it should be hands on or hands off.  Adriaan and Dr. Louie Puentedura just published a paper on this topic in the Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Also, coming up next Friday, June 9-11, 2017, is the Clinical Conference on Neuroplasticity and Pain in Minneapolis, MN!  We are very excited about this conference as it will cover topics including the clinical application of neuroscience, back pain, sensory processing disorders, and motor control just to name a few.
