Usually the best way to learn st new task or job is to observe someone else doing it. For some reason, reading a job description or "assembly instructions" can leave us with wrong impressions, not always because of inaccurate information, but often ‘because of our inability to accurately understand them. Jesus came for the purpose of ‘fleshing out‘ in His person and life how he wants us to live out our lives for Him. It is our sole responsibility as His "learners" (disciples) to intently study how He lived, so that we might learn1 how to live well.
