12. Jude Rogers
from Three In A Bar
Breaking news... this week, novice podcasters Seb Philpott and Verity Simmons invite journalist, interviewer, reviewer and broadcaster Jude Rogers for a chat. "Have they lost their minds?" we hear you ask. It's like Leyton Orient taking on Real Madrid. Luckily for them, Jude is both encouraging and forgiving and has countless tales to tell from her years interviewing and reviewing pop stars and musicians. Amongst other things, they discuss Mercury Award panel disagreements, interviewing Justin Timberlake on honeymoon (Jude's, not Justin's) and guests, both rude and delightful. Jude offers excellent advice on getting the most out of an interviewee (all carefully noted). She introduces Seb and Verity to new artists and bands, many of which are featured on the Three In A Bar Spotify playlist.
