Cuando hablamos del futuro podemos charlar sobre Blockchain y las criptomonedas, las redes 5G, dispositivos IoT, coches eléctricos, robots. ¿Qué tienen en común estas tecnologías? Todas ellas dependen de la electricidad para existir y funcionar. A día de hoy nuestra dependencia y la evolución tecnológica se apoya en ella más que nada. Es tan omnipresente en nuestras vidas que muchas veces solo la notamos cuando nos falta, durante un apagón por ejemplo. En esta charla hablaremos con Maria Benintende sobre las principales tendencias que impulsan el crecimiento en el sector de la energía. También hablaremos de la transición de energía global rumbo a la descarbonización y mucho más. Maria Benintende es la analista principal para Energía y Medio Ambiente de la consultoria Frost & Sullivan, conduce estudios de investigación, administra y apoya tareas de investigación y consultoría a medida para ayudar a las empresas líderes en las industrias de energía, petróleo y gas y servicios ambientales con sus estrategias de crecimiento. Tiene formación académica en la industria energética que permiten contribuir a la investigación relacionada con la energía GTD (Generacion, Transmision, Distribucion)  -y su transformación digital-, renovables, DER (Distributed energy resources), almacenamiento de energía, energía crítica, biocombustibles, petróleo y gas, tratamiento de agua y aguas residuales, y otros aspectos ambientales. Con licenciatura en Relaciones Públicas por la Universidad Siglo 21 en Córdoba, Argentina y Maestría en Energía del Centro de Estudios de Actividades Reguladoras de Energía (CEARE) de la Universidad de Buenos Aires. También tiene títulos de posgrado en Gestión de Proyectos de Petróleo y Gas del Instituto Brasileño de Petróleo y en Relaciones con Inversores de Saint Paul Business School en Brasil.
