ServiceNow stood out as a fascinating case study. Despite its stellar performance in 2021, like many tech companies, it faced a challenging 2022. This brings us to an essential investment lesson: strong fundamentals don't always mean you should hold on during a price fall. 📉 In February 2022, when stocks were tumbling, we didn't just watch them bleed. The stock market can be like a game of snakes and ladders; riding a stock all the way down and back up can leave you where you started. Instead, we chose to exit and hold cash, avoiding significant drops like Meta's 80% plunge. 📈 Fast forward to January 2023, and with ServiceNow's fundamentals remaining robust, it was time to re-enter. This decision paid off handsomely, as ServiceNow became one of our top performers this year.
