#12 Sex in Berlin - “Even vanilla is a kink”: Live from the 19th Pornfilmfestival

Most people watch porn. And most people go to the cinema - at least once in a while. But why don't we go to the cinema to watch porn there? The Pornfilmfestival Berlin is a special kind of experience and at the same time it's as commonplace as brushing your teeth. At least if you like porn and going to the cinema. Because the festival shows that porn can be more than “just” masturbation material and should therefore be appropriately honored on a big screen like all other film genres. The pioneering festival has a large and diverse selection of films that challenges societal norms, body politics and stereotypical constructions. For this english episode of Sex in Berlin Nike sent her roving reporters Ella and Amelie to the opening night at the Moviemento cinema. The two of them talk about what it's like to watch porn at the movies and test how shy the audience is. They try to find out what the visitors of the festival think about it.
