If you are a STEM teacher and sponsor of a STEM competition team, your role is to provide the framework for STEM competitions, define roles for the teams and help with team dynamics that are developed in the first stage of the 3 Stages of STEM. A sponsor should not be playing an active role in solving the problem in the competition!
