12: TikTok Therapy? Ethics of Therapists on Social Media

Not going to lie, TikTok has helped in breaking the stigma of seeking therapy.  While it has been incredibly helpful, like everything, it has its pitfalls. During this episode we get into discussing our POV on some therapists who are unfortunately perpetuating the pitfalls of “therapytok.”  Here’s our take on what’s happening and why we think-in these therapists' efforts to make mental health accessible, they’re actually doing more harm to clients and the integrity of the field.
