12: Trauma, worthiness and self love | Why it’s hard to love yourself

from The Devotional Woman Podcast · host Monique Carmela

When you're suppressing so much energy and emotion inside of your body, not allowing yourself to feel your emotions, the energy gets stuck. You spend so much energy trying to hold those emotions in, it's exhausting and it drains the life out of you. We all experience trauma in some way, it comes in many forms and often is gone unseen, unnoticed for years!! Trauma is the reason you feel unloveable, unworthy and are unable to receive the love that you crave.   In this episode I share with you powerful insights that I received on my journey from self-hatred to self-love and LIBERATION! Going into my own shadows, feeling my deepest emotions and DOING THE WORK is the greatest act of self-love I have ever experienced. I am so grateful. It was not an easy journey but so deeply worth it. Remember you have always been worthy, loveable and your feelings are truly valid and have the right to be felt.
