#12 Using your voice and body to fight gender based violence with Gohar Khachatrian
from jazve talks
What if there was a way to combat gender based violence? Empowerment self-defense (ESD) claims to be the way. It's a comprehensive, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approach to personal safety training. Gohar Khachatrian is a level three instructor in Armenia and breaks down the basics of ESD on this episode. She's also the co-host of Country of Dust, a podcast that tells stories of a changing Armenia, and works at Femlibrary, a feminist library in Yerevan, where we recorded our conversation.
