12. Yamuna Bihari // Ayurvedic Philosophies For A Modern World

from The Pink Medicine Podcast · host Lauren Plunkett

In Episode 12 of the podcast I had the pleasure of catching up with the lovely Yamuna Bihari. Yamuna has devoted the last 6 years to understanding and learning from the Vedas (the worlds most ancient wisdom). After completing his degree in Biology he moved to a monastery and later he traveled to India and studied under many masters. Yamuna started his own Ayurvedic practice 'Jivanam Ayurveda and Wellness' which aims to share teachings on self healing, the art of Ayurvedic massage,  marma therapy as well as to assist in coaching others to shift to a value-based way of living as means of self empowerment and fulfillment.  IN THIS EPISODE WE DISCUSS: + The importance of Ayurvedic Medicine in our modern times + How we can overcome lower tendencies and avoid living out of alignment  + We explore the yogic practice of 'Sankalpa' - a solemn vow of intention formed from the heart and mind + Yamuna unpacks the meaning of Mantras and in what ways we can use Mantras for different outcomes in our life LINKS TO CHECK OUT: https://www.instagram.com/yamunabihari/ (Yamuna Bihari's Official Instagram) https://jivanamwellness.com/ (Official Webpage) https://www.instagram.com/pink_medicine_pod/ (The Pink Medicine Podcast Official Instagram)
