Conversation 120:  The Story, Journey and Passion of Haley Hughes, RD “At the end of the day what I get the most job satisfaction out of is seeing a client make the progress or make it to their goals. Even though one-on-one is the most time consuming and stressful and almost feeling like a therapist at times. That is the definitely the most rewarding and I feel like I make a difference.” Haley Hughes, RD Today’s conversation is with Haley Hughes, a registered dietitian who is impacting her small community in a big way by starting her own practice RDRx Nutrition and coaching Crossfit. Haley’s dietitian career has taking her many places in the United States, including her home state of Alaska. While she was choosing schools, she landed in Colorado and realized there was a need for her dietitians services in her small community of Greeley. Haley started her business after seeing a need for nutrition education while doing diabetes education. She continues to be involved not only in nutrition education, but contracts in menu planning, her local Meals on Wheels program, writing articles, recipe development and collaborating with other professionals in her community in virtual course creation.  If you are looking to be an entrepreneur, Haley is someone who has leveled up in her business and will inspire you to do the same.
