#120: Tesla

Starring Ethan Hawke as the famous inventor, writer-director Michael Almereyda's experimental biopic TESLA covers about twenty years of Nikola Tesla's time in the United States, from working for Thomas Edison in 1884 to his J.P. Morgan-funded experiments in Colorado Springs in the early 1900s. In recommendations, Mark Pfeiffer selects the Martin Scorsese short film compilation Blu-ray set SCORSESE SHORTS. Paul Markoff picks Cameron Crowe's family drama WE BOUGHT A ZOO. Send your comments, questions, and feedback to [email protected].
