#120 - The Yellow Ribbons of Hanwell - Part One (Hanwell, Alice Gross)

from Murder Mile UK True Crime

On Thursday 28th August 2014, 14-year-old Alice Gross went for a nice long walk down the Hanwell Flight of the Grand Union Canal. It was a sunny day, on a relatively busy towpath, on a route she knew well having walked it many times before. She was witnessed several times on CCTV, but (somehow) between 4:23pm and 4:42pm, on a clear stretch of the canal... Alice Gross vanished. The question is how? This is Part One of Two of The Yellow Ribbons of Hanwell.Date: Thursday 28th August 2014Location: Lock 97, Hanwell Flight, Grand Union Canal, London, UKVictims: 1 (Alice Poppy Madeline Gross)Culprits: 1 (Arnis Zalkins/Daksa)Blog - https://www.murdermiletours.com/blog/murder-mile-uk-true-crime-podcast-120-the-yellow-ribbons-of-hanwell-part-one-alice-grossMurder Mile is researched, written and performed by Michael J Buchanan-Dunne of Murder Mile Walks with the main musical themes written and performed by Erik Stein and Jon Boux of Cult With No Name with additional music, as used under the Creative Commons License 4.0 (Attribution) via Free Music Archive and YouTube Music. A full listing of tracks used and a full transcript for each episode is listed here and a legal disclaimer. DONATE TO ALICE GROSS’ MUSIC MEMORIAL - click here FOLLOW US HERE:FacebookTwitterInstagramMurder Mile Discussion GroupYoutube SUPPORT THE PODCAST:Support us via PATREON.Buy Merch in THE SHOPFree Goodies HERE Hosted on Acast.
