121. Harmonizing Work and Life with Jeff Eschliman

from The Leadership Project Podcast · host Mick Spiers / Jeff Eschliman

💭 How much harmony do you have in life?Jeff Eschliman is a 30-year corporate warrior who helps executives create a lifestyle where success and harmony coexist. The defining moment for him to focus on harmonizing work and life happened after attending a leadership retreat from his previous company which gave him a refreshed energy and much-needed break from the regular work rhythms. He then thought of applying the same concept to the other roles he takes on aside his corporate executive role, which he refers to as the day of zen.Jeff shares that achieving harmony starts with consistency in building fundamentals through small activities across sleep, nutrition, movement, mindfulness and gratitude. Once you build momentum around the fundamentals, the next step is the one-page plan for life which states your core values, core competencies, goals and metrics. This will drive a level of clarity of what is important for you and how to move forward. Lastly, is the carpe diem which is Latin for “sieze the day”. Vast majority of the time should be spent in the present moment, by acting on what is on the one-page plan.🎧 Listen to this episode to know how you can apply harmony to help your teams achieve harmony in all aspects of their lives.🌐 Connect with Jeff:Website: https://jeffeschliman.com/Book Mentioned:Strangest Secret by Earl NightingaleSend us Fan Mail The Thrive Careers Podcast My career wasn’t a straight line—it was a series of pivots, survival jobs, and...Listen on: Apple Podcasts   Support the show✅ Follow The Leadership Project on your favourite podcast platform and listen to a new episode every week!📝 Don’t forget to share your thoughts on the episode in the comments below. 🔔 Join us in our mission at The Leadership Project and learn more about our organisation here:  https://linktr.ee/mickspiers 📕 You can purchase a copy of the Mick Spiers bestselling book "You're a Leader, Now What?" as an eBook or paperback at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZBKK8XVIf you would like a signed copy, please reach out to [email protected] and we can arrange it for you too.If you're thinking about starting a podcast or upgrading your hosting, Buzzsprout is a great option!
