121. The Goderich Chronicles - E1 - David Yates

Next year in 2027, Goderich will celebrate its bi-centennial. In preparation, we’re happy and proud to present The Goderich Chronicles, a limited series on the history of the town and the stories of a few long time residents. In this first episode we go back to the beginning, 1827, with friend and local historian David Yates, who will help us sort through some folklore, to separate fact from fiction. We’ll learn about our founding fathers, the 12 apostles, duels on the river flats, brothels, cowards & poltroons, heroes, catastrophic weather events, landmarks and a ton of other things that shaped who we are now.
