Sarah shares her journey from working in customer service to running a dive shop in the Caribbean and discovering her love for writing. Sarah realised that she was a writer through her work in the business - writing website content, customer communications, newsletters and a blog. She pursued a master's degree in professional writing and felt empowered to call herself a writer.Sarah shares her journey as a brand writer and the inspiration behind The Writer's Walk, a newsletter that combines walking and writing prompts. She discusses the importance of speaking the language of your customers and the authenticity of brand voice.Sarah emphasises the value of customer service and listening to the people behind a business to create a genuine brand tone of voice.
