In this week's episode, Shawn and Joni sit down with well-known endurance athlete, businessman, and author, The "Iron Cowboy," James Lawrence. James is a Canadian athlete who made headlines in 2015 when he completed 50 Ironman-distance triathlons in a year, breaking the previous 45. He eclipsed that record in 2021 when he successfully finished 100 consecutive Ironman distance triathlons in 100 days as part of the "Conquer 100" challenge. James then finished one more, bringing his total to 101 in 101 straight days. He explains to Shawn and Joni the mindset, support, and devotion it takes to conquer life's toughest challenges. James also discusses his family, the example he wants to establish for his five children, and what's next for him after accomplishing this seemingly impossible task.
