#122: Chris Shehan and David M. Booher - Specs Artist and Writer

This week on the Capes and Tights Podcast, Justin Soderberg welcomes Chris Shehan and David M. Booher to the show to discuss their latest comic series Specs. Shehan is a comic book artist living in Texas who has illustrated such works as House of Slaughter, Nightfall Double Feature, Denizen, Bi Visibility, The Autumnal, and more. Additionally, Chris has contribute to a number of main comic covers as well as variant covers one the years. Booher is the GLAAD-nominated writer of Canto, Killer Queens, All-New Firefly, Dungeons & Dragons, Rain, and more. He has created comics for Dark Horse, Image Comics, IDW Publishing, Vault Comics, and BOOM! Studios. His all-ages fantasy series Canto is now in development as a feature film with Will Smith’s Westbrook Studios. His LGBTQ-led Killer Queens was featured in the New York Times as a must-read in honor of Pride Month. Killer Queens is getting a sequel in 2023. David and Chris are the co-creators of Specs at BOOM!
