122 – Issues involving obesity, nutritional, developmental, and cultural

from Healthy Mind Fit Body · host Wes

Happy holidays, from Japan. In this episode I cover the worldwide problem of childhood obesity and nutritional deficiencies, which is related to what the nutrition establishment has been advising over the years. There’s been a lot of confusion about what is healthy to eat. Using coercion to ban and tax substances doesn’t deal with the causes of the problem. Amidst this landscape, self-responsibility and helpful scientific information remain key to countering misinformation (such as about fat and carbs). Honoring the nature of oneself as a rational being capable of making free (as opposed to coerced) choices is foundational to personal and societal well-being.
