122. Let’s Talk VIDEO with Amanda Horvath

This week’s episode features a video coach! Amanda Horvath is the first non-artist ever to be interviewed on this podcast and that’s because I’m a strong believer in using video within your art business. It was actually pretty great to talk to someone who isn’t in the art niche because Amanda has such an outsiders point of view on things. Meaning, when we talked about different video ideas that artists could create, it started with Amanda just asking questions that she didn’t know the answer to which are the same questions our customers are asking, which is what we should probably make videos over. This is a very unplanned conversation so you’ll hear a lot of coming up with ideas on the fly and working through good and bad topics. This is a very real idea generating conversation and in the end we come up with an idea, and Amanda even gives scripts, over a topic that I’m about to create a video about. If I’m doing it, I highly encourage you to try it too. Hopefully some of the video ideas we talk about stick in your mind and I want you to be thinking of video ideas for your specific art niche.
