122 - The Exorcist 2: The Heretic (with Dean Kapsalis)

Well, October is now in full swing and we have to say that the next few weeks are looking BRIGHT. This spooky season might be a little different to Octobers past but rest assured that we are still here, bringing it with the quality guests and this, EPISODE 122, is no exception! This week, we are absolutely delighted to be joined by the Writer/Director of THE SWERVE, the absolutely devastating closing film from August's digital edition of Frightfest...  It's DEAN KAPSALIS! The film? THE EXORCIST II: THE HERETIC!  Widely considered one of the worst sequels/films of all time, especially when its predecessor is one of the most beloved films of all time, it's safe to say that the cards are stacked pretty heavily against THE EXORCIST 2. Directed by Deliverance director John Boorman and starring a returning Linda Blair as Regan alongside acting heavyweights Richard Burton and Louise Fletcher, this is a weird one, for sure.  But is it really deserving of all the hate?
