I don't know about you but I'm too busy looking at New Japan world's English content to get two shits about this I'm Jackie. Not another wrestling promotion. Not another fad. No Jack.

Moxley against Yeah What do you mean oh Going into another light set of rules tomorrow some brand new rules to live by why don't we just do what everyone else does Ignore it. No, it's just it's in. I run it yesterday was World Mental Health Day or something It's just like it couldn't be further down the toilet if it tried I would imagine the collective mental health of everybody is just shite for a myriad of many different reasons But it's just fucking rubbish in it. It's fucking rubbish.

Let's have the gym off me tomorrow I know it after we spent two weeks isolating because we thought we had the covid and we haven't got the covid No, I don't believe it though. Oh, hey, there you go. Let's go. Oh, do you know?

Well? Yeah, but other than that I'm fucking dandy You can buy a pair of zacks a Virginia boxer shorts from the Japan world Yeah, considering I don't respect him as a wrestler. It's a tough Soft thing to have for merch wise. What's all sorts of shit?

Hey, listen, I'd listen to our last podcast when I was Yeah, very rarely do it these days, but fuck me the vape is loud. Is it loud? Yeah, would you say it's off putting? I'm not gonna stop.

Nobody's sweet was to say that I bought it. Well, I'm sure it's just you know, it's just get used to it I found it quite annoying, but I've literally got it in my hand now about to have some sorry guys. I didn't Forget about pick it all go much. Oh my gosh.

Megaloud. Yeah, I'm not doing it. Oh I fucking hell you know, you know what I mean? It's like just sound like I'm being a dick sound like I'm just blowing the vape straight into the mic It is quite loud.

I mean, it's megaloud on the thing, but I suppose it's part of it's part of the shtick Isn't it we'd be the vapors if we were on WWE is attacking the British vape Yeah, we go, but I'm not doing it. Listen. We told me what we need to do is go back to smoking I mean, it's quiet. It's killing us a lot faster than this.

Well, it's to it. Well, listen anyway, cheers. We've got a giant annuals We're um, we've got fuckers to talk about is what we've got cause should we start with? Start of the week NXT.

Okay. So this is how much I watch the NXT There's so much of what I say. Did you get that? I'm trying to watch it.

I don't want to keep banging this plexy glass. Hey, hey Oh, I can't watch it. It's so sad because from all accounts the the baller calorie match was brilliant You know, my man comes out of it with a broken door into places I kind of fast forward through it a little bit and just to see what the whole house was You know, the both bleeding from the mouth at the end quite like quite like we've seen that I watched it Did you watch the whole thing? Oh, yeah, I was asleep on it.

You were asleep. Oh, yeah, I was after the show didn't we? I just felt like yeah, the plexy glass banging I was so tired by that point. I tried to go to bed by the time the match came on I was a little bit over it and I knew it was gonna be a long match along competitive match And sometimes you just want it to be like you want it to be a lesson match to finish off the night So it's like that can I know I'm gonna be in bed in 15 minutes.

That's fucking hilarious You just want to let us know much to finish. Yeah, you do when you've stayed up that late. It's so inconvenient It's so fucking inconvenient, but yeah, I'm sure everyone's really chuffed with it So they keep doing it like we keep saying we're not gonna stay on And yet they say they just say one thing you got one they say one thing and I go yeah, yeah, maybe I should Well, anything could happen anything could happen. It was a moon the anything that could happen.

Oh, yeah Yeah, how disappointing was that? That was it that was your catalyst. You were literally snoring after about 10 seconds of that Happen it Oh, yeah, you're gone. Yeah It's better than Bodella so Yes I bet Bodella's was like, oh, yeah, it's great that people are talking about me.

Maybe I should go back to my next day Well, I'm bemoontoey, didn't she she says like miracles can happen if you just bow leave and then she posted it Posted her entrance coming back really fully Super funny. No, but everyone just was assuming it was It was him. I can't what I said that last week. I couldn't believe why people thought it was him Like on what fucking universe is anybody asked about?

Bodealis turning up anywhere. I saw really as another can you be asked side note? I didn't click into it because I thought like, you know, why bother but fucking sundown Did it did like a podcast interview or something like that? Sorry.

It was just slightly out of whack the microphone. So yeah, sundown did like a podcast of the reason why AEW won't contact him Okay, I was like, I didn't realize that needed to be explained exactly. I was like how fucking tell you right if you're if you're in any any Illusion as to why a w wasn't contacted yet, you know, let us know because I'll fucking tell you straight I like sundown though. I really like sundown.

It was one of my favorites at one point I thought he was super entertaining what he was giving a load of trash and he turned it into treasure in a lot of cases I don't know. I liked him. I didn't notice that he couldn't wrestle so that means he can wrestle. I can only notice when he can't So he you know, it was fine.

He was great like So for WWE Well, I mean they treated my shit. So obviously no well, I don't think he'd get back there anyway But I wouldn't he would be like blast on the list of desperation signings Well, in a situation where you've got Sean Spears being really underutilized now Then you can't expect sundown to come in and do anything because you're talking chalk and cheese and they're not even using him Absolutely. I said this to you in the week dinner. Yeah, you did because I watched them again These three pay-per-view that they bought on them On YouTube I stupidly bought it month before on the old fight tv thing and Spears is Very good Like the whole thing the Cody with the chairman of the board, you know being sat in the chair You know, he folds the chair up.

That's where his music starts He gives a crowd a chance to get it out, which I think is brilliant and in ring, you know, he's not he's not a young book But he's he's not Tackazawa, you know, he's not pouring baby oil over himself. So which is hilarious. He's becoming my new favorite Oh, I got that way side helping fucking genius. Absolutely.

You say that you've been watching that actually Yeah, I've watched like I've watched like two episodes of being the elite and the only reason why I watched it is because I watched botgermania and botgermania had the bit where the dark order of pissing about and so comes in As if soobs catering for the dark order You know Because we've been giving brodie a bit shit recently just because he can't do anything but shout And to hear the actual being the elite like episode where the dark order taking the piss out of him And like somebody sat on somebody else's shoulders with his coat You might like to shout each other. I thought it was really good and he comes in and he's like This motherfucker doesn't like your food soon. I was in I was in tears But you know try to throw the paper didn't work Brodie starts off he goes do it again hilarious and a j-pissing herself in the background when she's trying to long for long like no But yeah, I've enjoyed the two episodes. I've seen and one of the bits in it again apologies if you've seen it the Like the set this settlement like a nakazawa Matt Seidel feud by saying that nakazawa pordy's turkish baby oil on the top rope and a slip off Which I think it's just genius for it for an undercard rivalry It's not on the level of peter Avalon and Brandon Cutler which axel.

I've not even seen that fucking match yet I've not even watched that match and I can't believe it when he said sweetless last week I was like, oh, it was like the main event You know like a WrestleMania main event quality and I was like what and then because I was so I've been so poorly I feel like I'm just like coming out of it so ill because no more poorly is I'm literally just coming out of it It's like I've woke up and realized that it's not three years in the future So I still need to watch that to be fair you have been so ill that it's been like sleepwalking through the last couple of weeks Because I've not been great either. It has a little bit. I mean it's everything I've watched I feel like I feel like I feel like I'm under water looking up It's a bit and now I'm like come up and go. Okay, right?

Okay. What a mist so yeah, I agree And as soon as you as soon as you come out of like the sleeping-duced ill coma You've just got Stephanie's fucking face it going and the number one traffic to raw. Oh christ no off it goes It's like that scene in Fight Club where Brad Pitt says all that guy's cereal is gonna taste a lot sweeter in the morning The opposite is like you are just awoken to Stephanie but man's screaming It's like that's the point you come to and go oh fuck me what decent wrestling have a mist I mean it's bad at the moment in it because I because I I'm gonna be honest I feel like this I mean it's all I nearly said it's turning into but I think it's always been less trash But I think when you wrote this podcast but when you're only talking about WWE It's it's a lot different but I'm at the point now where I can't be asked with anything that they're doing even the rains thing Isn't enticing me to watch it for free. Do you know what I mean where I'm like I'm literally like all day today I've been thinking about signing up to New Japan world I've already got the fight TV Um Aw thing Because of its impact seems to be making loads of noise at the moment.

It's like well is it worth watching an impact Well Chris Horricks is really interesting He always tells us to watch it and we haven't yet You know what Chris you know it's tough because I I'm still I've still got a TNA hangover from when it went ship because that was my second That was my first brand when when like you know you mostly machine guns even though the bucket it Obviously machine guns your lax you know you sting Or as if just before it went super shit with Hogan and all that kind of stuff and they changed the ring back But now here in AJ starts talking about that's excited ring Come on. Yeah, never use that again because it fucking hurts The but nobody wanted to take a bump in there Because it's like because it was literally the only sweet spot was in the middle So that's why all the action happened in the middle of the ring I'm not surprised it's just post after post after post It's just like because that's where the rings the hardest is where they do the post But it's just like that's it and there's just a tiny little sweet spot in the middle to do a chokes on it Fuck that It's unnecessary just to be a part of the difference though It was great though. Did it have a sick side of the ring when you went to see it? I don't know if it was sick or it was five I can't remember.

I think it might have been five Six no six sounds cool. I don't know a pentagon. I'm sure it was six somebody got a gazio You'll never make you you'll know But yeah, but we went when me and gaz wet see at the M.E.N. It had the six-eyed ring and I remember us being stood there like And you know being on like the ramp we had tickets You're like the only time I've ever been on the ramp wrestling show.

Yeah, and it was quite fun You're under yeah, we put around out. Yeah, we put around out. You know, you got your hand slaps by wrestlers and all that kind of shit Yeah, it was fun Um, and the I was a decent crowd there as well I can't remember it being like round but just I'm sure it was just a house show Exovia was on it. That's so much Which is fucking hilarious because I remember because a memory from years ago the Facebook memory gaz bought a picture of it What was he called then?

I'm sure he was like a secreed. Yeah, hello creed. I think I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry. I think it was Austin Creed. We get mixed with the follow creeivers and Austin Creed. I'm sorry.

I'm sorry he was doing his like America stick Where he looked older than he does now Because he had a mustache. Um, I can't I can't remember but I remember AJ style's being on it because he did a flip Like where we was kind of stood. Um Yeah, but yeah, so like so that the hangover from kind of TNA is is I've literally for the last like three years seen nothing of it Obviously and just been just seen article after article after article of during financial trouble through turmoil The crap it shit look how shit this wrestling show is and like since like The whole dixie car era. I don't know people are now trying to stick up for a little bit And it's like now no, I remember in Liverpool coming out and doing a promo.

I'm sorry gives a fuck about dixie can't really get a fuck out of it I've got book a sea versus rhino to watch after you get the fuck out of it now. Um The Liverpool show was the best by the way Is it the Olympia something one in Liverpool? Yeah, I think so So me and gaz got like tickets at the very back row and it was like Because it's a bit like an Apollo type venue. So it's not like an arena for anyone who doesn't know what the Apollo is It's not like an arena.

It's one of those way if you would go if you were gonna go and see like a play or a musical or something like that You know the old schooly type arenas when you know, it's like three tears and it's just you know You're facing this everyone's facing the stage type situation if you don't you don't know anyone just just google Manchester Apollo and I look at the inside. That's kind of what it is. Um, but we I don't know why we got on so far back It must have been availability. We're literally on like the very back fucking row and and it was like you're to like crazy neck So you can see all the fuck me it was tough.

Yeah, but I loved it I saw a Canadian destroyer's be first live Canadian destroyer to Sanjay Dutt. I think I can remember more of that than a I've done the last few weeks But yeah, we're not from the massive Sanjay, but yeah, I've got a massive hangover from impact Because I've seen nothing but these guys are shy for so long And but now they've got a few people that I am interested in like I was an Anderson. Uh, that's where it ends I'm all the messing There are quite a few Things I want to say I do want to watch the last pay-per-view when the mochaing was going back, you know, I mean I think that's a good place to start watching a paper. Yeah, yeah Yeah, that was Anderson.

I'm on a presume then it was Basically, well, they're not I don't know if they were on it that I think they might have debuted kind of a couple weeks after but um It was something like that for the tna title or whatever it was It's Tommy dreamer going for it and it's a bit like nobody loves Tommy dreamer more than me But come on mate, you know, it's a title match, you know world title match now Let's let's put you put you just your own shorts on and bring you kendo stick unless I'm a battle royal, you know Don't don't have a fucking world title match, but yeah, but it might have been great because I've not seen it Um, yeah, I think that's wrestling wise. That's where my head to let out a little bit at the moment Um, I thought I couldn't give a fuck what ww even doing I think it's it's a ww for me has opened the door more so than anything that you know I see ww progress and all those when we started getting into them and then obviously an ex tuk came pretty much snappled everybody anyway Yeah, um, but I think a ww has done more to make me feel intrigued by all the companies because I reckon if you you know If you're watching www you've never really seen a ww you've never seen at all It's really easy to dismiss any sub brands like oh, but they're just still not as big Yeah, it's just forget them and it's like actually you know a ww's fantastic Yeah, so the others could be too. They don't have to be the best They don't have to be winning a fucking ratings war to be you know given any time well we we used to do that We used to say why the fuck would we watch anything else because I like to watch an arrow age But the production value really frustrated me Because when I say production value might not be might not particularly be production value that I mean What I mean is you know, you've got young bucks or anything like I'll do a fucking crazy open top rope moves and they miss it And it's like okay get your shit together and I'll come back and that's the good thing with a w I mean it's still not quite as like a wwe You know and when they miss something it's funny like Cassidy's sprinting across the stage And you just see a pair of sneakers and a blazer orange hair It's like just sprint across the stage and then the camera cuts and it's just a fallout of him jumping at Jericho But there's the certain things that I used to do when I was watching those types of shows and and the production value was awful And the state you know the arena is a tiny and the fans are a bit dead and you know, you're watching A botch vest at the start and then and then it gets to the main event The main event will always be like right because you know the the decent people that are paying a decent amount money to do this kind of thing But I was always like and arrow age was really the only one that if they had a paper you'd like right I can sit and watch this But you couldn't sit and watch it because one you didn't know anybody like me putting words in your mouth here But I'm only saying I don't know anybody on the show and it looks terrible Like the camera the cameras need updating like 10 years ago Just cheap just that cheap and nasty and a bit half that's the problem It comes across as half-hearted when you do it exactly and it's not it's it's budgetary and you know, you know, you have to you know It's quite a bit unfair to say it looks half-hearted because you know, they're giving it a go and they don't have the budgets I think when you use what I think what frustrates me is there is not what frustrates me But I think that what makes everybody come undone is that there's one way to film a wrestling show It's the WWE way, but it's always been that way, you know, it's not WWE's created It's only one way you can film it really so it's really clear then when you see where Some are lacking because they are all filmed exactly the same way from the same angles Yeah, so it highlights all the issues and all problems and even you know, editing is a big problem for them because they do miss spots the camera You know, the cameras are there, but the edges does not got there quick enough to cut to the bits they need to they need to be at and it's That shit and that's before we've even got on to can any of these people do promos Do you know what I mean? Like that's before you've got to that which you're gonna probably yes, no I was in the majority of them probably a bit shit at this and you'll have one or two that are fantastic Yeah, so I think a lot of things have to go right.

I don't know So I suppose lots of things and that was my mindset is like I was you know, we were doing the podcast We were watching everything that the WWE put out so a five fucking NXT roll Smackdown And it was literally, you know, so many hours of content a week and we were doing the reaction videos and You know by the time you'd finished your job as well. You know, you remember that that was supposed to be a hobby By the time you finished your job and then did that it was bedtime And it's like well, I've not got any time to do anything And like I watched the other lugeo on the ground thing like I started that show where it was like I react to stuff I've never seen before just just to try to branch out but then they'd give me copyright strikes I was like, oh, I'll suck a dick then I'm fucking you not lugeo on the ground like copyright strike like was it like six months after you posted it as well? It was like no, that was that something like that. It was like ages after we posted it and it took it down I think that was I think that was lugeo on the ground when there was another one where I got a copyright strike like straight away And then that was like two so just like there's no point even though it was like a tiny little thing at the bottom I was like, I was no there's no fucking point YouTube's over Do you know what I think it is?

It's over for people because like it's all time content creators Yeah, because you know you can't monetize anything anymore Yeah, why would you use it? That's why I don't bother without podcast anymore. I just don't see the point It is it's become it's sold out and it's become like another video channel and advertising channel Well, they put even if you want to put a video on when you're advertising no monetization They put adverts on your videos now without you asking so like there's loads of content creators I like watching and it's like every 10 minutes is like a 30 second advert And it's like hang on I know full well that these guys don't put adverts on so you've done that and it's just like It's great. It's an editable.

You know, we we all you know if you're a similar age to to us You know like 30s, you know, we were if the start social media is always gonna get more corporate It's always gonna start like fucking wild west. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no really is twitter for the wrestling thing Yeah, that's it. That's literally it's speaking of which shall I check it out. That's some tweets.

Yeah, go for it I bet we've not had some we might have had one Was only about half an hour ago when you did it Yeah, Carl Masters Just forgiven as a child. Yeah, thank you So said we have and I'm gonna get this wrong tanahashi Appearing in Joe co celebration video. Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Yeah with the new Japan logo in the background if in the future ever happens What would be your top three a w versus new Japan? Supercard matches. That's a great question. We could do the whole fucking show.

Well, I don't know the fox there Okay, well you could though I don't know if I could actually well So the issue is is it's I'd go for the big ones that I do know so obviously Akada would be I think it's because Because you can't the ones that I would pick so if I was gonna say like it like from a few a few months ago I was saying them About having uh like a a w branded Stadium show so a bit like a wrestle. Yeah, I would love a Akada omega main event in an American stadium And you don't have you don't have shit, you know, no no build up. There's no need for the build up There's no need just put that on the card and watch the tickets while I out without a shadow bed out That's what I'd have. I mean I love osprey Um But he's not really like a big gun.

Well, yes, he is for him, but it's I mean a poo she's amazing So he would be on there without a doubt Akada I mean kenta Is fucking min just kenters back to being old school kenta and not a hideo it's army Right So because I watched I watched him a little bit of the g1 climax I just put like a random episode on just just to get a bit of a feel for it And it was just Japanese commentary so far. All right, so new chime world will be all Japanese commentary And it's not So I was like, oh, you know, fuck it. I watch it with Japanese commentary You know, anybody was and then saxé but junior comes out and I'm like, Jesus Christ We turn this crap off Um, but I love how great the crowd are like it's just like like amazing slick technical wrestling A little bit of a hand clap and then we go. Oh three the three people's gonna go for three So I'd go for singles because I'm not I'm not massively up on new japan's factions I know it's chaos.

I know it's bullet club, but I don't know who's who really yet But I am gonna start watching it So if it's my current three would be the main event would be Akada Why can't I remember his name? Kliemaege against Akada. I'd have a bushi Jericho and I'd have um Because I was gonna say Takashi Kenta then but Ah do you have an I've thought Kenner? I think what's the guy's name?

Who's like the really cocky one? Who's been in it for fucking years? Naito that's it I'm actually on a new Japan's website to find that So I'd have Naito against Jericho because I think that would be fucking amazing Because Naito's got a similar from what I've seen if I'm wrong then I'm wrong But Naito's cockiness and just chilled out kind of nature I think with Jericho would work really well. And then I'd have Kenta again, Smoxley, you know, in a kind of a, like a No Old's Barred kind of thing.

They're the three that come to mind, but I'm sure after a week of watching it, I probably have a few more in there. Because they've got wrestlers that I know, that are great, like Jeff Cobb is great, Osprey is great, Juice Robinson from anybody remembers, the Moon Childs back in NXT, Christ as he left that behind. CJ Parker was it? CJ Parker, well done.

Yeah, Jay White's in it. It's hard, it's really hard to say. What would you say? No, give us a...

What would you say? I was just about to go, I've just told you I've done a lot of fucking content. Like, if he does, maybe he does want to be shows on it, then we'll... Yeah, definitely.

Or the No's Barred. Yeah, that would be my three then, just off the bat. What I think would tell the house down in like, the Jags Stadium is Okada, Omega is the main event. Yeah.

Jericho, Naito, and who do I fucking say now? Or I said I went for Kenta against Moxley. So obviously Abushi and Takashi get on the show. Well, I think that might be the three.

But you'd tell Ab to be a good walk. Yeah, yeah. And I just like kind of kick the fuck out of him. Like, whatever you want to do, if you want to put a bit of metal in your...

Break his... You can just kick the living shit out of him. Like, when Abushi debuted for... No, Abushi.

Jesus, wept. When Kenta or Otami debuted for NXT, and you go on YouTube, you look at the old videos, and it's just videos of him kicking, literally kicking people in the head. Yeah, I'd have that guy back. Nice.

He looks in good shape at the moment as well. Because I saw about three or four months after he left, and he was able to go again. Yeah. I saw a few pictures of him in matches.

And I thought, I think someone's had a bit of a meltdown there. But now he looks like he's back in the mould again. Fuck that was why I didn't let him go. God, good time.

Fucking big time. He had all that injury, didn't he? Like, he was injured for ages, and I think that he... I think he was really, really sweet on him.

And then he was out for a really long time, and I just think they've moved on. Yeah, because he had the game in fuckhole. Yeah. But he had that WrestleMania moment, which was a great thing on the network, when they did that.

Yeah, but he was in the Andre the Giant Memorial by Royal. Yeah. And the crowd were challenging for him. Right, I don't remember that at all.

And when he got eliminated, the crowd booed, when he was walking back up the ramp, everybody was like cheering for him. Oh, cool. And they put that in the 24 thing. Oh, that was great.

Yeah, it's a fuck WWE, man. There's been so many of these guys. Like, you know, the fact that we're not even who the fuck's Nakamura now. Oh, no.

You know what I mean? Like, these guys are like headlined. Is he still in anything where he says I don't care? I couldn't care less.

Any more to eat or something? That's it. But I will continue to check, like, start desperate, lonely podcast. I'll continue checking to see if anyone else gives a fuck.

That was really good, though. Yeah. Thank you for that. But yeah, I am going to start branching out a bit more now.

I think, I mean, it's seven quits, seven pounds a month. Well, I'm watching this fight TV. It's like three pounds, 20. Literally the same as the network.

For both of them. Yeah. Fuck the network. Well, we've walked it off months ago, so we're never going to go back.

No. Well, you never say no, but... That's true. ...sing.

Or do you see, on the take, you're pissed on the whole sting match? No, what? No. It was a thing like, I saw like, I GM when I was looking at Hades' reviews, Ladies and gentlemen, anybody who's got a PC or a Switch by Hades.

Super giant games, amazing game. I saw like, you're undertaking a thing like, oh, the wrestler reacts to IGN's comments. I think they do really like shit loads of people. And one of the questions was, did you feel like crap that you didn't, or not crap, obviously, didn't pull that in?

Well, how do you feel about the fact that you've not had a match against Sting? And he basically just pissed off it. He was like, oh, well, you know, he stayed in the VCW for ages and then didn't come over. I think people are thinking it'd be better than what it would be.

And that's literally all he said, whereas Sting's been like really complimentary of him. And gone, oh, that was the match that I wanted. And all this kind of shit. This thing's great.

I'm a fucking piss around Sting. It's something, man. But yeah, I just missed nothing. Well, fuck you, Undertaker.

Yeah, Mark, how are you now? Fuck you, mate. I saw a thing the other week as well, that was like, Undertaker planning a return. Oh, Jesus, here we go again.

Of course he is. Here we go again. Vince saying, what's up? No, I'm done Vince, no, what's up, big guy?

If that's what you want, I mean, I've got some ideas, but if you want to retire then, hey, that's up to you, Mark. That's up to you. But don't forget everything I've done for you. Don't forget that.

You eat well because of me. That's literally how it goes. Yeah, definitely. Come on, fucking, make my man Jesus.

That's work, man. That's my man. Do you feel like in that kind of mode? Because obviously you watched the entirety of NXT, and then you won't take over 31.

And when I woke up, or when you even knew what we were saying, it's time for that. You weren't very complimentary. No. I was bored.

I was really bored by it. And I don't know whether it was the time of the night, and I was just tired. But I just, I just wasn't engaged. I wasn't engaged with anything throughout it.

And maybe it's because I've not been watching it religiously. So I'm not really going to give that much of a crap about any of the match ups. But I don't know if you didn't hold me attention in the way that at the moment, AEW does. And I can watch it, and I can be like, who's that?

And you were reminding me who it is on AEW. And I'm like, oh, OK. And I still am entertained by it. Yeah.

I don't know. It seems a little bit more by numbers. It's going to be great. Yeah.

I know exactly how long each match is going to be, and I know how it's going to go. And I know that the matches are exactly the same. There's no looking to differentiate them from each other, or they're all really safe. No one's really doing anything that different.

Yeah. Be lucky if you've got one amazing spot. It's not really about doing mad spots. But I just found it all of it there.

It's a bit unwellnessed thing by it. But that might just be me, because I'm moving away from WWE so much. Yeah. I'm the same sort of girl, because I watched the triangle ladder matchroom, classic champions.

Again, recently, I don't see what all the fuss is about with it. I don't know why everyone was saying it was amazing. It was good. And there was some really good spots to it.

But I was like, yeah, that's good. We're starting from food to the starving. If they do something good, everyone goes fucking batshit. It says it's the best fucking match of the year.

But there's qualities. You've had a bad year, WWE have had a bad year. It's pandemic related, obviously. That's the window at the sales in a big way.

But I do think that they have done so many things. I would say over the last two years, that I've put them out of favor with people. It's made some mad choices. Yeah.

They've done some silly things. They've done some questionable things. The whole Saudi Arabia thing. For many reasons, Lisa Sauer tasted a lot of people's mouths.

A lot of people don't care. But there are many that do find that all of it. Pretty much. It's just all of it.

Kind of, there's no integrity there. It's just taking them away. Yeah. And I think they've really demonstrated that it's that they're going for a big cash grab all the time.

It feels like. And of course they are. They're a big fucking conglomerate. But I just think there's too much distance between the top brass and the TV networks and where all the cash is.

So what eventually happens in the ring? Yeah. I think the layers are far, far too many layers. Just too many.

I mean, Jericho said he didn't. He's like, if he wanted something to prove, he had to go for like four people. I know. Fuck that.

He was like, yeah, well, exactly. And that's the thing, whereas like he will speak to a cat and they'll say, yes or no at that point. I mean, that picture that you keep showing is my most of drawing. It is literally fucking Stonehenge from Spinal Tap.

Like it's literally that funny. Like it's on an upkin. You know, you slip it across the table to a jags game. It's over there watching for them.

Tony, Tony, hey, look at that. What are we looking at? Please explain what I'm looking at. Chris, what am I looking at?

What the fuck is that? It's my mouse, baby. Oh, Jesus works. But yeah, it's one of them where I don't know if it's a part of me that's kind of wanting to root for the underdog a little bit.

Well, maybe that's why we liked NXT. And then AEW came along, which was the ultimate underdog. She's starting for a new promotion. But you've got a load of clout behind you to start it.

So it's not kind of this underground wrestling thing that you go to a few shows and it tells momentum. It'll be like how progress felt a little bit when we got in at the end of that. Yeah, yeah. But like it was such a big deal AEW started.

You know, with Cody and it was just massive and Jericho. It was exciting. And they are still the underdogs and it is more exciting to watch something grow. And then it'll get to a size where we probably end up a bit fed up with it and we go elsewhere.

Yeah, maybe. I hope not. I just feel like I enjoy myself a bit more. And I do put it down to the facts that they have things planned weeks and weeks and weeks and events.

Because how many stories have you seen with like, Vince is coming on a Monday and just changed everything. And you can't get anything going. Because everything just feels a little bit on the back foot. Like the whole, you know, Alexa Bliss taking her out of the finish to the Fiend Brater Braun Strowman match because of Roman Reigns' return.

It's like, yeah, that's fair enough. But you've put effort into that. You've had her in the vignette. She's going a bit weird.

And like it's only now, I've not seen anything for weeks about it. I've never became face to face with each other and walked off together. OK. At the end of SmackDown, maybe.

Well, this week. I think so. I saw it up to Twitter today. So I'm presuming it happened.

Well, the last highlight I kind of saw to do with that was her sister Abigail and someone. Yeah. And I was like, OK. So that's interesting.

But the fact that you've, it's just little things like that. I mean, you all know you listen to this. It doesn't take a lot for my attention to be cut or to be broke out of things. You know, it can be as simple as the ref being to evolve.

You know, little things really frustrate me with it. Because there's no need. I think there's no need like ref's been to evolve. Weird stipulations in matches.

Like that fucking one. They had a couple of weeks ago where retribution finally had a match. And then somebody's got him and then somebody who wasn't. Like a three.

It was like a six man tag match. I don't know if you see this. It was a six man tag. And literally all I did was saw the highlights.

And one of them has got somebody like a sleep hold. And you know, they have two people on the outside of the ring waiting for tags. One of them comes across is in Hit Some to break up the sleep hold. And they ring the bell for a disqualification.

And then you've got whoever it was on commentary. Flapping is gums about the fact that, oh, it's illegal for somebody on the outside to hit an illegal wrestler. So that's why it's a disqualification. I was like, that happens every fucking match.

I know what you want about. And it's all that kind of stuff where the chaos that ensued afterwards with all the retributions, all the minions getting the ring and doing a beatdown. Wow, that's going on. I'm going, hang on.

I'm getting out of me WWE rule boy. I'm out of the box. It's ruling. But it's like so stupid that the things that they decide to do.

I know. Oh, God, give me a stand. Well, remember as well from NXT on Sunday, the fake commentary team. Oh, yeah.

What the fuck was all that about? Substitute. Do you see anything on that? People would go banging on about it on the night on Twitter because I did a tweet as well about it on a retweeted account number.

But it was so ridiculous. It's like, who are those two random people? And then when it comes to the commentary, like, he talks to the camera, he's just that guy. He goes, I don't know why that.

It was just him. And it's like, who are those minions either side of you? Pretending, looking nothing like Wade Barrow. Or, you know, like Beth Phoenix.

Yeah. We were different people. Didn't the girl have like red hair. She likes Sasha Banks.

Old school Sasha Banks was like, what the fuck are they doing? Why are they bothering? We know they're not there. We know they're not in the buildings.

So why are you pretending with two people that look like them? See, this is what I mean. Oh, it's just lame. Like, if you have the greatest match of all time going on in the ring, and it cuts to hang on with them two people, literally for the next ten minutes, you're looking it on Twitter.

You're saying, what the fuck's going on? Because it's funny. Like, why they would do that? I don't know.

It's just... We can't do every podcast like this, though. All we do is we spend the first fucking hour just saying, I'm... Shit, we do.

We do. Should we go through AWE, though? Yeah, let's move on. I'm going to get another drink.

Do you want a top up? Oh, yeah, go on. Would you say this is the only wrestling concept we've watched this week? Yeah.

Yeah, it is. I've not even watched dark, you know. I've been... I've been poorly.

I feel like I do need to watch, even though I know it ends up a draw. I need to watch that Avalon cut the match for me. Why have not been all over that? I've literally just completely forgot about it.

And I remember last week seeing the tweeting going, oh my God, they finally did it. Of course it was a draw. That's so funny. Well, that's like a rivalry that I give a shit about.

And neither of them have ever won a match. I've mental in it. Yeah, it's so funny. Anyway, Diana went this week.

So 30 years of Chris Jericho. Oh, wow. It's 30 years of Les Champion. What did you think of the celebrity kind of cameo camera spots?

Do you know what they were? They were what they were, weren't they? I think some of them were actually better scripted than WWE is. I think a few of them were like reading from a side monitor.

So what someone got reminded who Chris Jericho was five minutes before they did it? Was this this this guy again? Yeah, I've just thought it was funny. Like, we were joking about it before saying, and we both agreed that we were in agreement that Jericho was a bit disappointed by the night.

Yeah. Because he will have arranged all of that. Oh, definitely. He will have arranged all of those celebrity things.

And I think there was a part of it maybe that was thinking that they were going to do something for him in the ring at the end like a cake. Yeah, and not just people coming out and giving him a drink. Yeah, like some sort of homage. I feel like he sorted it all out.

Yeah, I think he did. And then at the end, he was probably sat there with Karl and just doing him. That's right. We did everything that you told us to do, Chris.

Yeah. Well, yeah, you did everything that I told you to do. Organising your own birthday party. And everyone's going, oh, yeah, brilliant.

And you're thinking, they're going to do something for me. Oh, yeah. And then they just do all the shit you planned and you're like, oh, thanks guys. I just couldn't even fucking pull your finger out your ass to do one little nice thing for me.

Yeah. It's like all the rocks doing a thing for shamrock. Not even like a commemorative belt to give him or some sort of like mad things to present him with. Yeah, that's what I'm doing.

No, he'll sort it out. Or maybe that's what he wanted. Maybe what you complete control. Maybe.

I mean, I don't think he looked kind of happy. No, he really didn't. I thought he was kind of going through the motions a little bit. I think what I think pulling it off is like the crowd just singing Judas once.

He hates that kind of. He hates it. He said that on Saturday night, it's special. It was like, oh, you know, we've obviously mentioned it before on the podcast, but he was like, yeah, it's great hearing everyone's in Judas.

But you know, like you kind of, you do need to sing it twice. Sing it twice. I really miss it when everyone does that. And they did it the next week they did it because obviously someone sent a memo out.

It's like fucking now. If he's not going to be a sourpuss, get the fucking rest of the crowd to sing. Just twice. Just need to do it twice over.

Even if it's reaching and then they didn't, they did it once. Yeah, it was written all over his face that he was upset. And I think then, um, what's his face? Some he was kind of running around the ring going, no.

Well, that's what it. I think he started and then I saw like him run off towards where the crowd is. So he must have been doing that. Oh my God, that's horrendous.

It's like just let him. I mean, I know he kind of said that way. He was like, oh, you know, you paid him on each hand what you want. And you know, it's an endearment thing.

But WWE owns YTJ. So that's why he doesn't want that doing. Yeah. Because you can count on some like, but much wise Brian Cage was his will-hobs for the FDW championship.

Now I had to tell you who will Hobbes was. Yeah, just to remind me, and then I did remember that he did that his, his, his dynamite debut with Mopsley. So I did remember him after a bit. But he literally went 0 and 5 on, on dark.

And I think somebody had a word. And so do you know what, this guy might be all right. And then the next thing I see, because obviously I'm not watching dark, he's 4 and 5. So I'm 4 and 6 now.

But I'm not that bothered about this FDW championship as it was when it first saw it. Because obviously any old school kind of ECW fans will know what this is. And it was quite a good thing for me. Like I was like, holy shit, this is a big deal.

But I think the way they've kind of treated it has been weird. Like the whole presentation ceremony, like you know, cagedy look at us at all. Yeah. And just kind of held it up and I was like, right, okay.

What? But now he's defended it. Maybe he gives a shit. But I just can't see it lasting for much longer.

Because I don't, I think the way it's gone, I don't think people really care. Because it has had a reason to bring it out the first time. It was like, he did that because he wasn't getting a shot at the ECW world title. So then he had this one that he was just going to defend against anybody all times.

But yeah, weird, weird. But then the offering Hobbs a chance to be in Team Tars and I thought it all felt a bit forced. So maybe not. Yeah.

I don't really remember it. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. So tag team title match. I've got a gripe for this one actually.

That's good. So they're calling him a brush with greatness, which I think is quite funny. It's 20 minute time of his FTR versus CH2, who I can't stand. The great and the wing ring book Christ, the fucking annoying.

They can't be a face team. They need to be a heel team because they might sit in the same thing. But they're very good in the ring. But they can't dance.

But yeah, so my gripe with this, and I don't know if anyone agrees with it or not, or just doesn't care, which is the normal kind of brush, is the 20 minute time limit for me. I think they should be using it. If they're going to go to the point, I don't think it's enough to say, okay, title match is supposed to be a 60 minute time limit regardless of how long it goes for. Because obviously they decide how long it goes for.

So that part of it doesn't matter. To say that, we're taking it from a 60 minute time limit to a 20 minute time limit. I think you need to use the 20 minutes. So you need to get half of them using the time up and looking like they might just lose it.

Oh, sorry guys, the time has gone off. We go, we're still the champion, seeing a bit, you know, because it doesn't take anything away from FTR, I don't think, because nobody's won and lost. So it's literally just a drawer in the back and they can be celebrating like they've won. And it's such a heel move because they've already put in the stipulation of any tag team matches that have FTR and you have to hold the rope.

I don't remember seeing it in this one. I don't know if they dropped that or not. But if you're going to say there's a 20 minute time limit, I think you need to use it. That's why I think that's all I have to say.

That's all I have to say. But in the end, they've done that. I've done that two weeks in a row now where they've said it's a 20 minute time limit and they've still won the match within that time. So might as well have been a 60 minute time limit anyway.

Maybe I'm poking holes where they shouldn't be. Not going to match. I hate the stipulation. It looked like I was watching some BDSM shit.

There's a reason why it's not been used for like fucking 20 years. I fucking hate it. I fucking hate it. I just think it looks lame and clumsy.

And I don't think there's anything threatening or exciting about that stipulation. There's a lot of stipulations like no holes barred and all that shit where street fight, whatever. You know, they're all much of a much, you know, so they're all pretty much the same. And this one just felt kind of stupid.

Because I don't think it takes away from how tough the people are. I don't think it really adds to, oh, you've got to be chained together. And they tried the best and they did a few decent spots with it. But it just doesn't, I don't know, it doesn't like too bad asses.

It looks like two men in a sex dungeon scrambling about. You just with too many clothes. It just, I don't know, it didn't work for me. It really didn't work for me.

No, I don't like it either. I mean, they played it far too quick. It's the point where they both like, oh, they've all blown out. They were fucking G old blooded in the end of it.

That's what JR said. JR said, oh, he's already congratulated or whatever. They played it far too early. They did a pile driver through a table during picture and picture.

Oh, no. They played it a shit load. Right. Because I watched it on the fight thing and then I couldn't be asked for a laptop.

So we just got it on some free night stream and it was the TNT stream on the free one. And it was the advert. It was so funny. I mean, it's not funny at all, but the advert JR in the package pile driver through the table was for a potentially revolutionary cancer drug.

And it was the bit where they're going through all the side effects. And you know what? They're American drug adverts. Literally half of it is somebody quickly reading through side effects.

That always include anal leakage bleeding from the eyes. It's like, oh, we've got this new amazing hay fever medicine. Ask you data today. But if you have anything like this, it's like hay fever tablet.

It's like bleeding from the eyes, anal leakage. You know, I just got on my stomach. Stomach horses bleeding from the mouth. Lots of teeth.

Lots of hair. It's like, is a fucking hay fever tablet. Lots of teeth. It's like, oh my God.

It's so funny. You won't get hay fever again because it burns out your sinuses. It's like, it's supposed to be cold for your face. That's it.

I know. It was quite funny. It's like heart palpitations. Like, you name it.

This drug's got a side effect for it. But they're going through that. It's like, it's always during that point. It's always like the first half of the adverts are like, a people looking a bit sad when it's telling you about how good this drug is regardless of what it's for.

And then the second half of the advert seems to be people who have taken it who are now back on track. The ass is definitely a beacon. They've got any side effects. But like, they look all happy and they're at the coffee shop or the plain tennis.

As all these side effects, like, you've got bleeding from the eyes. What a great for-art. But you know what? It's kind of shit.

Whilst the side effects are getting, so that must be like a marketing kind of coin. Like, show people being happy even though you're told you're going to bleed from the eyes. But like, as that's going on on one side, Kogi's pile driving Brodie Lee through a table and then he's like, blading to fuck. And then the comment train it says, I'm trying to say, you know, he got busted open from that pile driver.

Here's the replay Brodie's head obviously go anywhere near the floor. And then he just pops up and he's got fucking lacerations for days. Yeah, I was surprised he gave it back to Kogi so quick. Yeah, me too.

And as much as I love Orange Cassidy, I don't know how bothered I am by that title match because I don't think Cassidy's going to win. Because Cassidy lost to Brodie Lee. Was it last week? Yeah, because the week before, because that's when Kogi came back.

So Orange has already lost, his title shot. Now if he gets this one again and loses again, then I feel like all the work he's done with Jericho has kind of been for nothing. Absolutely. Absolutely.

And it does seem too quick. You know, Kogi's not just having it for a week and then dropping. Well, who knows? I mean, it might do and that would be preferable to me.

But I don't think it's going to happen. Because on one hand I think how can Orange Cassidy lose that because of all the momentum that he's got. And I'm surprised that he lost against Brodie Lee from honest. Yeah, I don't know.

But it's a big week next week. It's the anniversary of Dynamite. Oh, yes, yeah. So there might be a few things in the works for it.

Any more for the dog collar? No, I think I'm also with the dog collar. I hope never to see it again, actually. Well, it was 20 years or so since the last one.

So I'm going to put Greg Valentine in the crowd looking like he was struggling to stay awake. Yeah, I don't think I'll get pulled out. Looks like Brodie Lee slipped on the thing. You know, it was clunky.

It was. It was just seemed a bit pointless. Yeah, next match was Big Swole against Serena Deeb. I've got to say, I didn't see much of this.

No, excuse me. No, there wasn't really too much to do it. I mean, they were trying to put Deeb over. I mean, we've seen her from Meyung Classic in a future as a trainer or something like that.

But Swole wins particularly easily. Oh, hang on. Wasn't she the one with Punk, who shaved a red? Hmm, that's a good question actually.

I think she is actually, I'm now wondering, so remember the Meyung Classic. And now it's struck me because he said she's like a palates or yoga teacher. I'm sure that's what she went on to do. Serena Deeb.

Let's have a look. Wait there. She had Google's things. Yeah, it is a, yeah.

It's a show that shaved a red one just in that faction with Punk. What's the faction called? Straight exercise. Yeah.

Yeah. That's where, right. Okay. Now I know who she is.

Now it makes sense. Yeah. Well, I was just thinking about her as Meyung Classic. But I remember at the Meyung Classic was that I'd been yet ever talking about that time.

Okay. That's what was more interesting then. Yeah. Of course she lost anyway.

So there you go. Main event. I don't think there was many matches on this one because it's super easy getting a getting kissed to send Chris Jericho a video. Jericho and Hagia versus Dr.

Luther and Sapemonico or Luther Chaos Project. I thought when I thought that the best bit of this was the tag in when Sapemonico was tag in Luther and they were just both looking at each other. Yeah. I thought that was the best bit because I don't really know the backstory.

I was like most people I'm getting told the backstory that Luther was a big part of Jericho was wrestling to start with. They'd both been in each one together and all that kind of stuff. But I thought it was quite a nice way for them to do that because if you were WWE, you wouldn't put Luther anywhere near Jericho in that kind of situation. I don't know if they lost anyway.

Yeah, but still. I think it was a nice kind of touch there. Agree. Hey, what about that stiff elbow to the clown?
