124. Small storm a prelude?

A small winter storm will dump anywhere from an inch of snow and mixed precipitation to higher amounts in elevated areas of Connecticut, according to meteorologist Brad Field. The storm will hit on Jan. 3 with the main precipitation beginning at 4 p.m. However, in his conversation with co-host Dan Lovallo, Field says the nuisance storm could be a harbinger of bigger things.
