A long time ago, it was a private home.The man who lived there, Henry Frick, loved art very much.He collected many paintings from Europe. And after he passed away, his house became a museum.When you enter, it doesn’t feel like a big museum. It still feels like a lovely home.The rooms are quiet. The furniture is elegant. The atmosphere is peaceful.One of the most famous paintings there is Luncheon of the Boating Party by Renoir.It shows a group of friends eating, drinking, and enjoying a sunny day by the river.Everyone is talking, smiling, and relaxing. The colors are soft and happy. It’s full of life and joy.There are also paintings by Vermeer, Rembrandt, and El Greco.Vermeer is very rare—only 35 of his paintings exist!
