125: Inspired Workspaces & Human Design Environments

from Spirit Crumbs · host Andrea McCallum

I've been thinking and hearing a lot about spring cleaning and rearranging for the past month. Last week, I had to empty out my kitchen, and having my things out of place really got me thinking about how I use my space. Since moving in here 6 years ago, it's always been more studio than apartment! Having all of my work surfaces in the "studio" (living room and dining room) covered in dishes suddenly made me feel limited in my creative energy. At the same time, I saw a post by Vaness Henry about the Human Design environments and I decided to revisit this topic. I knew that my own environment resonated, but hadn't really done much investigating. On her blog and Instagram, she has some great resources including suggestions for workspaces that are tailored to each environment type! https://www.vanesshenry.com/blog While reading this, I also started making connections to the 6th and 4th houses in astrology, so I decided to make an episode and share my thoughts in case any of you are also considering an office/studio revamp.  Feel free to reach out if there are other topics you'd like to hear about, or answer the Spotify Q+A bubble with ideas!   Links Group Energy Recharge & Sharing Circle (June 14 and/or 28 @ 7pm EST): https://andreamccallumservices.as.me/group-recharge  Cancer Season Remote Recharge:  https://andreamccallumservices.as.me/monthly-remote-recharge Website: https://www.andreamccallumservices.com/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/concreteandcrystals/ Direct to Bookings: https://andreamccallumservices.as.me/

Tao Te Ching by Laozi (Author), Stephen Mitchell (Full Audiobook) Laozi Lao-tzu's Tao Te Ching, or Book of the Way, is the classic manual on the art of living, and one of the wonders of the world. In eighty-one brief chapters, the Tao Te Ching looks at the basic predicament of being alive and gives advice that imparts balance and perspective, a serene and generous spirit. This book is about wisdom in action. It teaches how to work for the good with the effortless skill that comes from being in accord with the Tao (the basic principle of the universe) and applies equally to good government and sexual love; to child rearing, business, and ecology.Stephen Mitchell's bestselling version has been widely acclaimed as a gift to contemporary culture.
