Pastor Mike was raised by a single Mom who had 5 children, including himself. They would spend every Sunday at a Pentecostal church which he found to be torture. He hated going to church. Once he grew up and went to college the seed that "God does not exist" was planted by his first biology teacher. This is when Pastor Mike became a atheist and also very curious about other beliefs. He started a college group called "Spirituality Talks" where people of all beliefs came together, Muslim, agnostic, hindu, atheist and more. This group became so big and popular on campus that the next year Pastor Mike ended up being asked to teach a Intro Spirituality class at the college. He also decided to live off campus and move into a house with a few strangers.
